Aaron Woods

He has an interesting running style in that he doesn't look to run hard onto the ball but is still able to make metres without necessarily relying on momentum, he looks to be not putting much effort in when he runs yet he is so effective, great player, wouldn't swap him.

So Tedesco is already an Origin player after 20 mins? no pressure there. Keep dreaming, you'll never see anything remotely like that ever for NSW

stop picking on the dude FFS. you dont have to criticise every single post he makes.. he will realise eventually. the same people always picking on him.

Yeah sorry i was a little harsh. I'm as big of a fan of Tedesco as anyone, but really give the kid a chance to prove himself before predicting him for Origin.

NSW:

1.Tedesco
8\. Woods
9\. Farrah
10\. Keithy

What on Earth are you talking about?

Thats how the 1,8,9 and 10 for NSW should look in a couple of years.

The call on Tedesco may be a little premature, but what on hell has Robbie FARAH done to deserve being dropped for this Farrah chap your talking about. What team does he player for???

Love Woods, one thing that really stood out to me though and i don't really know what it means or whether it matters but i listened to the game through headphones and you pick up a lot of other sounds especially the refs i kept hearing them calling him in defence every set we defended his name was being called out sometimes 2 or 3 times a set. Blair was the other name i was constantly hearing but when they called him it was usually to release a player on the ground, Woods were all in the line either he was not getting back or going early but his name was being called an awful lot to stay out of play.

i think you're right. not 100% sure and feel bad to say something negative about someone who has been the best for us this year but he is still kind of having some degree of difficulty with the pace of the game.

many would agree that robbie is a serial offender when it comes to throwing forward passes from dummy half but i think most of them are because woods at MANY time over runs it and not to mention he always gives away a couple of penalties a game. maybe it's fatigue? not 100% sure what the prob is there.

You people have no idea Woods and Blair are on the refs tip sheets every week. Woods is one of our tight defenders and it's his job to slow the ruck down the refs know this and if you watch the game you will see how much work he is actually doing in the ruck. As for not being up to the pace there is not too many other front rowers who consistently put in the minutes that he does week in week out bends the line back on most runs makes 30+ tackles and pushes up in support or decoy plays and is still in only his second season of NRL at 21 years of age.
Give yourself a triple.

Probably because Sheensy makes him play almost 80 minutes!

sometimes, even at the start of the game… i've noticed it quite a few times actually. it was clearly evident in the roosters game, however robbie wasn't playing.

Sterlo on The Sunday Footy Show called him the best prop in the game based on form and consistency this year.

lol when did i ONCE disagree with what you said? learn to read first before saying rubbish like that… if anything you heightened hammertimes/mine notion that woods has to do too much work

I haven't read the rest of the posts but I'm glad you mentioned this. The last time we played he dragons we let soward push is around and we seemed to just take it, and this annoyed me so much. He has really matured over this season, it's great to see him standing up for his team.

Sometimes a club is just lucky and a young guy produces the goods a few years before you would expect it.
Not usually front rowers but we struck the jackpot here.
With Galloway finding form we have a super starting front row.

He used to always give away penalties. He's given away 1 penalty in the last 9 games.
