Agreed. The Dogs won't have as much blowback from signing Carney.
Foran, whatever is going on with him, he would benefit in having someone else drive the guys around the park.

Have we brought Mbye yet? Surely the dogs can squeeze Carney in now?

Then they'd just have a pair of busted halves. Carney is hopeless now and has been for a couple of years…

I would imagine relations between Woods and Isaac Moses could be rather testy. I believe it is the role of his manager to suss out the politics within a club. Directing Woods to the Dogs with what was going on within would always end in grief.

A managers top priority should be to look after their clients best interests. I don't think you can say Issac Moses did this with Woods. Woods seemed poorly advised. It worked out well for the WestsTigers but badly for Woods.

Exactly. Even if the only thing Woods cared about was money he still wouldn't be happy because he's lost out on his Origin coin. Moses was just looking to make as big a commission for himself in the short term as possible. That is not good management in my view, although some people seem to think it is fantastic for some reason…

Hard to say. Possible not certain. Obviously that leaves a lot of space.

With Arthur on the skids at the Eels, the thought of an under pressure coach bringing in a high profile signing on a big contract will play out exactly the same as with the Dogs' debacle. I cannot imagine Woods agreeing to that destination.
