Adam Docker

good young up and coming player only playing reserve grade due to having no trials and coming back from injury

ALthough this is true, they do have Taylor, Cartwright, Peachy, Manu and Brown all ahead of him.

His spot in first grade will be a shootout between him and Campbell Gillard for 4th prop. RGC is in front, but nothing between them.

Personally I think RGC is a far superior player in the long term, Im a big fan of him.

I have no doubt Docker will play first grade

Would be stoked if we got him. He adds that bit of grunt to the pack.

It could be that he is in NSW cup as they know they are going to offload him, similar to what happened to Grant.

Anyway i'll cross my fingers but won't hold my breath.

Grant looks like playing reserve grade again this week for his new club souths..

Looking at the bench, reckon he will play, they only have 2 front rowers on the bench.

Would absolutely love to sign him, Halataus time is up at the end of this year therefore we could easily accommodate him. Start either Santi or Docker at lock and swap them throughout the game.

Same thing happened to Sione Mata'utia, youngest Test debutant for Australia, playing NSW cup this weekend.

Bizarre…

That just shows the lack of depth the Aussies had in that tournament.

He wouldn't be a bad signing IMO, but if we're talking about next season I see Liolevave and Funaki both pushing hard for FG and the club has massive wraps on both these guys.

Great player and would love to have him at our club.
He does hit the ball up hard and sting in Defence so we only need him to increase his work rate and we have a good player.

Hear, hear
Sironen, Sue, Liolevave, Funaki, Akauola, and Santi all deserve a chance before we look elsewhere.
Fiagatusa also played well in the trials

Go Tigers :sign:

IMHO, our weakest point is depth at FB, so I would target Nene Macdonald
Born 11 May 1994 (age 20)
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
Height 192 cm (6 ft 4 in)
Weight 100 kg (15 st 10 lb)
Playing information
Position Centre, Fullback, Wing

I'd take Nene MacDonald in a heartbeat, but we'd have to break the bank to get him. A back five of Teddy, Nofo, Naqaima, Simona and McDonald wouldn't go too bad…

I like docker and think he would be a good signing but that being said I think there is a buzz about our club at moment and I think we are building a tight knit unit. A us against the world type attitude. I wouldn't like to disturb this by signing someone that takes away a spot from someone within the unit at the moment. Strange I know because we were all calling for some signings a couple of months ago, myself included.

I think if he wants a decision quickly he might bypass us

I think a lot of players want to see actions speaking louder than words at the Tigers before they will sign at market value

With the comments of Anasta and Marshall and the unpaid money comments at the back of many players mind , we need to go over and above on the playing paddock

Disagree.
The NRL guarantee all player contracts. It's always the third party stuff that muddies the water.

That's exactly why DCE is going to the Titans.
