What’s ironic about that ? Everyone blew up back then exactly like they are now . Benji was wearing an Auckland jersey a year later

Why shouldn't Javon have been named?

We have had the most putrid attack in the NRL, only 22 points in the last 4 rounds total. An amazing 5.5 points per game. Doueihi acting like he is prime Andrew Johns getting asked to play hooker. Doueihi had the most touches of the ball last week for 0 points.

So, the coach does what any coach with half a brain with an out of finals contention squad would do. Blood a promising prospect, a prospect who is leading NSW cup in try assists and line break assists by significant margins.

He tries to fix our attack by having a better passer on the field and giving Doueihi a role that suits his strength of running the ball, overall giving us more options to score some points.

The arrogance of Doueihi to think that his performance over the last few weeks warrants no review, that the tactics need no adjustments and that he is untouchable blows my mind. He had a purple patch to start the season but has been a very below average half since returning.

I think Benji made the right decision, I am ecstatic to see Javon picked and I think Doueihi should go down to NSW cup and see if he can outperform Javon's production.

I wonder if Doueihi watched the Souths game last night. They spun the ball to the outside backs all night, scored tries and won the game!
Our backs only get used from our own 10m line to get bashed. Never in space or from an attacking position.
Doueihi is our handbrake for any attacking options out wide.
Wake up Doueihi or move on.

I honestly can’t be too critical of Doueihi’s behaviour given the circumstances. The club has set a precedent with Marshall and Farah doing something similar which resulted in Sheens leaving.
Another example was given by Noddy this week when he was coach involving Doueihi.
I thought this was exactly the reason Richardson was recruited?
Isn’t Pat Richards Head of Football?
Doueihi could simply be a victim of precedence?

No strong leadership at this club. No authority since the start. We've never had it & all our problems, including this, stem from that. We had a brief moment with Richo.

Exactly!! I’ld be showing the door to Doueihi, Twal and Seyfarth, but having them all compete for the lock position is the next best thing.
Why are they not supporting the coach and their teammates?

Benji set the standard at the start of the season with the comment that if you’re not all in then there’s the door or something similar. I recall Benji telling AD in the off season that he was the 7. I think AD is drawing a line in the sand and perhaps challenging Benji on his word and integrity (standards).
I don’t believe personally that AD has permanent hold the 7 jersey regardless of what Benji said but perhaps the Luai situation has him asking questions as to why he was moved when he remained loyal?

There’s many people with different opinions, getting rid of AD is maybe a bit early , because what happens if javon , had a crap game and it looks like he is not 1st grade standard, ( not going to bag him on 1game ) but just throwing it out there , we have a terrible go with our kids coming through, so maybe see how things pan out before pushing players out , and remember he is on a small contract

We have scored 24 points or something over 4 games ..I got no problem with shaking things up there … the question of who makes way though is a different one and not as straight forward to me ..

Cancer spreads if not cut out, no other club would accept what he has done regardless of any ability he has.

If we let him back we get what we deserve and prove the culture hasn't changed one little bit.....

He new what he was doing, why was he doing laps of concord anxiously before "confirming Benji's team selections"

What he did was premeditated and Shat on Benji , club, teammates and sponsors in the biggest possible way....

If he had concerns he should have raised them privately within the 4 walls of the club.

Your first 2 are incorrect. But bcoz we’ve had some respectful banter, I’m gunna say why.
Point 1; JA is in form, if you’re gunna pick a bloke to debut in a team that’s getting beaten don’t wait. It’d be nice to have the pack humming and none of AD’s antics that same week but we ain’t that team. My example to you is Benji. Debuted at 18 round 20ish came off the bench early too. We won, but his second game we got flogged. Two years later with that experience he throws flick pass I still watch probably twice a year. Yep just watched it again it’s gold.
Point 2; yes he should have. Bcoz doobs is a shite hog of a half that is only any good when the pack is dominating and he can hog it and use his big frame to score. Otherwise peaheart turnstile. That came across very opinionated but I implore anyone who doesn’t agree with Benji’s decision to move doobs to lock, go and read @Jolls breakdown in deep muff dive thread.
Personally I’d have him in Ron’s Cup.
I find it hard to understand how people can still support Doobie after all the times he has stuck the boot in, try to hold us to ransom, throw tantrums, and then go and sign up with Isuk Measles. But I try not to be biased.

Why shouldn’t Benji have moved Adam to lock ? He’s 105kg and 195cm tall fffs . the guy is Huge and not doing a good enough job in the halves .
In actuality it shows how much Benji values him , because any other half would be wearing the magpies jersey . But Benji changed the team to accommodate him . And it’s still not enough …
