Adam Doueihi will report for training on Tuesday after peace talks with the Wests Tigers lasted about an hour on Monday morning.

Doueihi arrived with manager Isaac Moses at the Tigers’ Concord HQ just before 9am, and spent time with coach Benji Marshall, CEO Shaun Mielekamp and football manager Pat Richards.

There were fears Doueihi had played his last game for the Tigers after a fall-out with Marshall last Thursday, which led to him taking time out from the game. He missed Saturday’s 56-10 loss to Canberra.

Questions were asked about how he could walk back into the side for Sunday’s clash with Parramatta, if he should return via NSW Cup, or would even make himself available at all.

“It was a very positive and productive meeting,” said Mielekamp, during a 20-second prepared statement on Monday.

“Adam will be at training tomorrow, which is a very good sign. What’s really important is what is said in that room stays in that room, that’s important for us as a club. We’re all doing what’s best for the club.”

The Doueihi-Tigers drama has been the biggest story in rugby league the past five days.

Doueihi was upset he had been asked to move from halfback to lock forward to accommodate debutant Javon Andrews. He was also frustrated it took him several days to track down Marshall to be told about the positional switch, and Jarome Luai, who is off to the Eels next year, was not the half asked to move.

Douieihi then felt the need to tell Marshall there had been a dip in the levels of professionalism and accountability at the club, and that by taking time out from the game, his drastic action would shine a light on the bigger problems he believed were holding the club back.

Plenty of teammates have checked in on Doueihi and his well-being since the drama first unfolded.

Once again, absolute disgrace from the club to give no information.

We sat through this bombshell last week and we await the clubs response to a crisis meeting and we get a "nothing to report/see here" press conference.

The disdain for the fans is on full display.

Morris is the only assistant we have with NRL first grade experience...however he is also our defensive coach so he has not covered himself in glory there. Whilst our defense was solid in the first 7 or so games it was not system based it was more line speed, scramble and hard hitting...you cant maintain that for a full season.

Sorry the OP comment was "walked out" and I was asking how many walked out under Benji. Most of the guys you list were headhunted by other clubs or asked to leave by Tigers.

Tigers turnover is not really different to other low-ranked clubs, which is self-fulfilling because winning clubs don't tend to change things up.

I don't want to say I said so on Saturday, that this would happen, but I did. Not hard to apologise and move on. We all make mistakes and AD did. Let's see what happens with selection tomorrow. I hope Benji picks him at lock to make a statement as to who is in control.
