Recruitment had a plan when they pretty much head hunted Hastings. It was to get a good utility to replace Walters. Which they have done. Now with MBye moving on he will also replace MBye.
What’s been quoted is Hastings as a lock or in jersey 13.
Whilst i don’t expect Hastings to start the season at Lock I would not be surprised to see him finish it there.
His a big half with his main skill set being passing at the line. And the footwork and speed to beat a middle defender.

Also: A strong voice and leader on the field, and (by all accounts) an absolute hard-working beast in training.

He doesn’t work well with Brooks. I still believe he’s our best player, needs to be kept in the 6 instead of shuffling him around.

I hope you're right, a star when he plays well. I made the mistake of having hope today, and I thought he could be the guy.

Very jaded knowing we have nothing to look forward to for a long time.

The whole team defends poorly most of the time as they back peddle. I am not concerned about his defence, more his state of mind, seems to have lost the passion.

Tough one for Adam but he still looked our most likely to create anything out there. Ridiculous that his try was overturned. Stick with him in the halves, he's got a hot back next to him that has no idea how to run a team and he's not even played a season at 6

The thing about AD is he looks good when he runs the ball, every other aspect of his game is not up to scratch. He has alot to work on in the off season pending how he pulls up. In saying that Lucy inside of him is trash and any 5/8th would have a nightmare defensively.
