My only reservation with AD is the haircut.

Look AD has talent to burn and at his age should only get better but we need him to be consistent across the park. His reads on fullbacks in defense has started to improve but he does ball watch and if he doesn’t come up he is often left in a pickle & looks lost. His running style is interesting and maybe because he doesn’t have speed off the mark he gets beat, but geez at times he looks like he is struggling to keep up with the game when defending. Big reason why he shouldn’t be captain just yet. We need him to mature the right way not be rushed (he struggles with unstructured play).

Let him have the off season and see how we goes.

This is his 1st full year in the front line he will learn a heap and maybe even put some size on & be fitter for next year during pre season. We are in good shape with AD in the squad.

Prob hasnt helped that he hasnt had a consistent position in his career here or at Souths. Need to put him at 5/8 and leave him their. Hard to learn defence when you are moving from fullback, centre, five eight

Having been thrown from 6 to 4 and then back to 6, it's clear in my mind that Doueihi has been our best player so far this year. Who knows where we would be if Madge let him build a combination with Luke earlier.

17 try assists, 51 tackle breaks, 9 line breaks, 83% tackle efficiency and he's kicked 11 conversions in a row...

Adam has to be a contender for the Kelly-Barnes award this year

He's had ample time to develop with Brooks.

Recruitment had a plan when they pretty much head hunted Hastings. It was to get a good utility to replace Walters. Which they have done. Now with MBye moving on he will also replace MBye.
What’s been quoted is Hastings as a lock or in jersey 13.
Whilst i don’t expect Hastings to start the season at Lock I would not be surprised to see him finish it there.
His a big half with his main skill set being passing at the line. And the footwork and speed to beat a middle defender. I think he will become our version of Radley / Murray. And watching him in his most recent Wigan game playing 5/8 I think this will benefit him and the team the most.

Not to detract from the thread. Short message is keep AD at 5/8 his improving his understanding of the game but certainly his skill set is best utilised in the halves
