Jock has been mentored by the same top halfback we refused to go after.
His form for the Broncos has been better than what we saw on the way to a few spoons.

Must have been previous years , because he hasnt played NRL so far this season.

I want Madden in the spine every week. The KOE spine. If he’s a regular in the NRL spine it can only mean one thing - we’ve p00ped the bed

He has been recruited to guide the KOE side so we have backup players to fit straight into NRL side.
Jarvon Andrews, forwards and backs to know what to do and where to position themselves. Chip kicks, bombs etc.
A sort of on field coach! That's my reasoning (hopes) anyway!

The game that sticks in my mind was his 2 try effort at Campbelltown in 24. Made us look amateurish.

Does it really matter who gets picked in the 7 jersey in 26 if whoever gets it is guiding the team to wins.
Latu, Adam or Jock the forum might have its favourite player but what it comes down to is who the coaching staff think is excelling over the off season at 7, that's who will be given first shot, isn't this the way it should be approached.

No it doesn’t matter who plays 7, providing we are not weakening a position, namely the 13. Each position needs to be strengthened and each player needs to fully understand his role in that position, which can only improve through repetition. I don’t have a favourite player, just a favourite team.

Richo and Benji will know where we have to strengthen next, it stands out like dog's nuts that needs to be lock and middles to complete the team capable of getting to the top 8.

I think the values, as they tend to be on non-highly touted signings at the Tigers are probably a little over-reported.

But, without confirmation, we won't know.

I've not once heard Royce on anything close to 600k even once, so I'll take that with a grain of salt.

Frankly, this discussion was so long ago that I forget the point we were discussing, but needless to say that Bird and Royce are probably quickly becoming surplus to requirements, with maybe Royce to a slightly lesser degree.

I would keep hunt if injury free in each week till end of season , use him as a battering ram last 12/15 min first half and again in middle of second half , last 10 must be players who can still go hard
