Adam Doueihi #227

I heard James Graham today saying there isn't a clear right or wrong, and words to the effect that there are nuances and reasons, justifying Douehi's behaviour.
Ummm, no James. Douehi f'd up. It's that simple.

I mean, I thought this whole thing was a joke when it first broke. Douehi is not a bloody halfback to begin with! And he's not a star player either! He has been bog average for most of his time here, injured for half of every season, assumes a position that he absolutely crap at, but he plays a few good games in earlier rounds and now he's the second coming? Make it make sense!

I for one am glad this Douehi saga happened now. If he was going to insist on being the long term halfback and drag his entitled arrogance into 2027, then get rid! No better time than the present.

It’s an entitlement attitude.

We’ve had this problem in the past where we end up with personalities thinking that tigers need them more than they need the tigers. When they are made accountable the toys get thrown out of the cot.

Players like Bateman and klemmer used the media to drive the agitation. Noffa kicked stones. Can’t remember but Hastings was trouble too.

I honestly think the the club has improved in this area: you can’t change these personalities so they leave. It’s fine when you’re winning. but the nature of supply and demand in a modern workplaces means it’s much harder to hold young men accountable when they can get paid better elsewhere for the same output/attitude.

Only player I can think of that wouldn’t play is Tallis at the dragons but a different scenario . Players have wanted out eg lomax, hunt and versa clubs pushing players out eg farrah but I can’t think of anyone refusing to play because they don’t agree with how things are being handled
Matterson wouldn’t pay the fine - that comes close…
Now he’s parading around turkey and the likes (under contract) taking modelling photos of himself without a club in sight to move to

Arthur Laundy was (and probably still is) a Tigers man. He was asked to be involved in the club and the Tigers Board (and calling that rabble a Board is an oxymoron) insulted him and questioned his credentials. Off he went to the Bulldogs and I know which club is better resourced. That's one who would be interested.

I think you'd be surprised who'd be interested in owning the Tigers....
THEY insulted his credentials? These guys really need a mirror.

Correct and as soon as Luai departed the wheels were set in motion. We are an easy target rebuilding club rookie GM, inexperienced coach, roster with no depth. For once I don’t blame the club here there’s zero they can do about this. Cut ties and rebuild again.
Blame them for sacking Richo and creating this mess

We had the best administrator in the game

We would not be in this position if he was here

James Graham is the biggest flog on the radio

That bloke is a clown … he has never said one positive thing about the club - ever … I try to avoid blokes like him , The Mole and Hooper … I would not give any of them 1 second of attention. in case there is a way for them to earn a tenth of a cent from it in their social media platforms

Another year of scapegoating the coach when players who think they are bigger than the club agitate.
It's happened during Sheens, Potter, Cleary, Madge, Taylor, now Benji.
It's systemic here.

Here's a throwback to a 2020 headline. View attachment 41443
Yep we entitle our players . We create an environment that we think enables them to feel valued and perform better , and to most that’s exactly what it does , but there’s always some who see that as weakness and look to power play, ultimately learning to drama when it turns out they arnt in charge like they thought they were .
Literally 1 per year since Benji himself did it .( he openly admits he screws up and thought he was above the club ) .
Robbie was the real screw up , as like him or not he kept the playing group in check . The problem is we don’t have 1-2 true alphas in this club who don’t cop shit , but have the runs on the board to not be waved off .
We should never ever recruit from the Moses stable again . They all have the same personality traits … with loyalty being very low …. And sorry true loyalty is unconditional . You can’t say I was loyal but …. Then you weren’t . You ultimately weren’t loyal . It’s not a spectrum .

James is anti tigers because when he first came here he was supposed to come to the tigers but something happened .
I’ve noticed all the bulldogs shills , who copped shit for the last year about Galvin are all pro AS on this … same with Weidler . He’s a Gus Gould pocket holder big time .

He decided to leave ultimately.
This narrative is stupid

Richo has always said from
The podcasts he did with james graham before going to
The tigers - the most important thing in a football organization is governance

He hammers on about all the time

He said the only reason he took the job was because of the changes made and he was surprised that they actually did it

And then he said he took the job bc of it

Then hbg sacked 4 directors and the chairman and took back control of the board

And he left

are you right? Yes.

But he said he was only there whilst it was independent

That changed

He left

Enough said

Hbg fault we are in this dung pike again

Richo has won 3 premierships

How many have the hbg board won whilst being in control of the tigers?

Since Balmain went into liquidation - they have zero

They can’t even make the final

Absolute disgrace

Because the conditions of his contract were broken. By the moat inept admistrators in the NRL
Love u Suzie

It’s like we’re flogging a dead horse on this forum sometimes

Like 99% of the fans get it

That hbg are the blame

And like 1% still don’t get how good Richo was for us and how HBG have put us back about 5 yrs unless they land Wayne Bennet or Ivan cleary etc.

We are screwed for 5 yrs minimum now

Plenty, you just have to convince HBG to agree to sell...

You know what, Cleary is worth a phone call. You just never know what sort of challenge he wants. He dogged us yes, but he wanted to catch his son to a premiership, now he has done that 4 times, maybe he wouldn't mind coming back to fix the wrongs. I doubt it, but you dont know unless you ask.

I reckon he would laugh and then sympathize when he realised that it was serious.
