Yep we entitle our players . We create an environment that we think enables them to feel valued and perform better , and to most that’s exactly what it does , but there’s always some who see that as weakness and look to power play, ultimately learning to drama when it turns out they arnt in charge like they thought they were .Another year of scapegoating the coach when players who think they are bigger than the club agitate.
It's happened during Sheens, Potter, Cleary, Madge, Taylor, now Benji.
It's systemic here.
Here's a throwback to a 2020 headline. View attachment 41443
James is anti tigers because when he first came here he was supposed to come to the tigers but something happened .I heard James Graham today saying there isn't a clear right or wrong, and words to the effect that there are nuances and reasons, justifying Douehi's behaviour.
Ummm, no James. Douehi f'd up. It's that simple.
I mean, I thought this whole thing was a joke when it first broke. Douehi is not a bloody halfback to begin with! And he's not a star player either! He has been bog average for most of his time here, injured for half of every season, assumes a position that he absolutely crap at, but he plays a few good games in earlier rounds and now he's the second coming? Make it make sense!
I for one am glad this Douehi saga happened now. If he was going to insist on being the long term halfback and drag his entitled arrogance into 2027, then get rid! No better time than the present.
If Benji and Douhie kiss and make up any team selection should have him at 13 or KOEI hope named at "Left Right Out"
This narrative is stupidHe decided to leave ultimately.
Love u SuzieBecause the conditions of his contract were broken. By the moat inept admistrators in the NRL
Plenty, you just have to convince HBG to agree to sell...Arthur Laundy was (and probably still is) a Tigers man. He was asked to be involved in the club and the Tigers Board (and calling that rabble a Board is an oxymoron) insulted him and questioned his credentials. Off he went to the Bulldogs and I know which club is better resourced. That's one who would be interested.
I think you'd be surprised who'd be interested in owning the Tigers....
Love u Suzie
It’s like we’re flogging a dead horse on this forum sometimes
Like 99% of the fans get it
That hbg are the blame
And like 1% still don’t get how good Richo was for us and how HBG have put us back about 5 yrs unless they land Wayne Bennet or Ivan cleary etc.
We are screwed for 5 yrs minimum now
I reckon he would laugh and then sympathize when he realised that it was serious. You know what, Cleary is worth a phone call. You just never know what sort of challenge he wants. He dogged us yes, but he wanted to catch his son to a premiership, now he has done that 4 times, maybe he wouldn't mind coming back to fix the wrongs. I doubt it, but you dont know unless you ask.
This post drew my attention. The penny has finally dropped. This is true.Because we're a magnet for crap management, players & coaches
Not a chance.
This ^ ! I agree. As per my post above, I hope he comes out and spills the beans. If he honestly has any to spill. Yes Please.Really this can’t be about playing lock or starting on the bench, I hope it all comes out , so us fans can blame the right party , what gets me , is AD went to clear himself so he could play , then in 1 day he wants out of the club , there’s a lot more to this , again I hope we get the truth
The NRL should strip their license at this pointPlenty, you just have to convince HBG to agree to sell...
His camp have been trying to create a narrative all weekend. This ^ ! I agree. As per my post above, I hope he comes out and spills the beans. If he honestly has any to spill. Yes Please.
Doesn't matter if or how much more there is to it, should have been dealt with inside the four walls professionally.Really this can’t be about playing lock or starting on the bench, I hope it all comes out , so us fans can blame the right party , what gets me , is AD went to clear himself so he could play , then in 1 day he wants out of the club , there’s a lot more to this , again I hope we get the truth
Nah. We’ll play them in round 7 when they are 0-6 and be their first win which will be the catalyst for Benji’s sacking. Are we drawing Perth early? Lol
