Probably the only viable ex teammate who we could actually benefit from. Sometimes I’m not sure if Benji thinks he’s running an NRL team, or a pub team where he can have a laugh with his boys. The fact he still runs around in training drills adds to the circus optics. Has a real yesterday’s hero thing about it. Desperate to show he can still hang with all these young wipper snappers.

We are out of finals race now so let's experienment and see how it goes as it cannot be worse then the last 11 weeks

I would pick Luai at 7 and Andrews at 6...get the kid on his preferred left side. AD can play 13 off the bench.

No no no no , we need no ex players , we need experienced assistant coaches or an experienced ex coach like Flanno to get us back on track with new ideas , 4 or 5 runs and a bomb to nobody isn’t working .
Fast defence and smashing the opposition like our first lot of wins only lasts until injuries hit , most likely from it
No more ex players , and I’m not bagging Chris he was a great player and great club man , I’ve met him and he is a nice guy , but enough is enough

He needs some high quality assistants around him and despite how much I like Morris & Hodgo as players + people, on the outside, it doesn't look like they've assisted.

Ben Gardiner + one of Elijah Taylor, Josh Jackson or Dale Finucane for mine.

Not the worst but a bad shout. As far as I am aware he’s never coached? We need coaches with experience who are on the up.

I think the other issue is, how many coaches would want to coach under Benji. The assistant coach candidates will be better credentialed than Benji and Benji will be learning off them instead of the other way around.

This best thing to happen out of today so far is the CEO saying “What’s really important is what is said in that room stays in that room, that’s important for us as a club.” This is slight shoot across the bow at Moses - wouldn’t be surprise if there was some sort of stipulation about this. And obvs if reports of the meeting come out - they know where it came from.

500 people at a march is not serious. Pushing for independence is not serious - HBG can strip independence at any moment (and have done that). Serious means withholding membership, not going to games, sustained fan boycott and sustained negative media attention whether we are winning or losing.

I pulled my membership a couple of seasons ago and apart from watching Richo come in and create a glimmer of hope that we might be on the right track, that was all destroyed with the Christmas present brain fart by HBG.

Apart from a promising start to the season which turned to 💩 as it always seems to, I have not seen too much that is going to get me back anytime soon and I'm pretty sure that I am not on my own either.
