Send him a respectful email detailing your concerns. Will Adam Doueihi be booed on Sunday by Tigers supporters?
I shudder to think of when he is booed - with moses in his corner .They couldn't stoop so lowSend him a respectful email detailing your concerns.
All his clients think they’re future immortals mate, we need to tell them to go look in someone else’s mirror.I have enjoyed plenty of former rep footballers in the media talking about Doheey being a nobody in the game. Guys ego is so inflated by being at such a shit club. Wouldnt even be anywhere near other teams top half of their squad, apparently in this club he can walk on water.
It’s been sickening. Douhie sacrificing himself to raise issues for the greater good of the club. Please.jeez Riccio did his best to paint this bloke in a good light tonight. vomit
I agree with you to a point...and there will have been things said and done since last thur and post today team selection none of us will be privvy to.Your comment is interesting - I am reading all these comments but I don't have a huge emotional reaction to this Doueihi situation. I don't think there is a clearly right or wrong way to handle what AD has done. I personally think AD has handled it poorly but I don't think there's a simple solution for the club - the next steps all have pros and cons.
For example if Benji names him in the side this afternoon it almost looks like capitulation. The Blake Austin video you posted was bang on. If he makes an example of AD and puts him in reserve grade, it makes the line in the sand clear but the team's already hugely underperforming, I worry it's just flogging a 2026 dead horse.
I don't think it's necessarily weak or wrong to try and move on. It's possible that AD had a strongly emotional response to the situation and it's possible he said some things that are fair. Without being there it's hard to speculate.
Dude had swollen lips and scuffed-up knees. Whatever assignment he was on, it clearly wasn't covering footy.jeez Riccio did his best to paint this bloke in a good light tonight. vomit
Nothing wrong with having a strong opinion and being deeply unhappy about things at the club, but he didn't just walk out on his team, he leaked a bunch of dirty laundry to the media and threw Benji and the club and his teammates under the bus.
Benji was very diplomatic publicly and protected Adam - Adam has shat all over that.
The only response is to drop him for walking out. It's not how you handle things. regarding Adams grievances, the door is open to discuss any time he likes with or without his manager.
Saw he was selected today and was just so disappointed.
Until today I was actually fine with Benji, but this is up there with the worst selections I've ever seen and on the surface looks either incredibly suspicious, spineless, or both.
There's obviously a lot more to this than meets the eye, but without any explanation from the club how and why are we fans supposed to keep even caring?
That thought crossed my mind as wellTo be honest i would not be shocked to find out Benji was DIRECTED to pick AD at 7,naturally i have no evidence to support this but it would be the sort of thing i expect from our board.
Who’s holding him to account if he’s just making stuff up. Is it even a paid gig?Paul Kent seems to know a lot about what went on in the meeting. Speaks matter of factly about it.
Between 3 & 4 the AD camp again disrespected Benji and the club very publicly. That’s why him being named this week seems weak as puss.So seems like:
1. Benji didn't think AD would get off so promised Javon a debut and trained with him there.
2. AD won the case and wanted to be halfback but Benji picked Javon over what's better for the team. Wrong decision.
3. AD overreacted and said he wont play. Even worse decision.
4. Benji understands AD is best at halfback for us so put him there this week.
A shitshow and I doubt AD ever really comes back from this but let's move forward.
Happy for them to keep it all indoors and deal with it in off-season.
He slapped down the mental health card - puts the club in an awkward position .Karma is coming for himDouehi will.forever be remembered for this by all in rugby league circles.
Ryan Matterson chose to sit out games, let his team mates and fans down rather than pay a fine...he'll never live that down.
What Douehis done is 100 times worse
