Adam Doueihi #227

Am I imagining it or do we virtually always fail to run support for someone making a break? It often seems to me that players stand back admiring a line break instead of supporting it. Maybe it happens so rarely that they are surprised by it and dont think to react.
It happened a few times in the first few rounds. You remember, when we won a few?

Doueihi when he runs is one of our most dangerous attackers. Also, he was left a couple of times close to our line to make one on one tackles with the Eels' second row forward. Our second-row forward was MIA. Fortunately, Doueihi's defence was up to the task. I expect next year when KPP returns, our right-side attack will be far more threatening and our defence so much better on that side. I'd like to see Doueihi slot into the centres leaving Andrews and Latu Fainu as the halves. His try was that of a classical centre.

As soon as KPP went down injured our right side defence completely collapsed, the amount of work he was doing holding that side was elite.

Thats what happens when everyone is waiting for someone else to do something
Like when a forward receives the ball but looks to offload instead of run and when we do the restarts and our idiot wingers run up and tap it back with both hands to an opposition player rather than catch the freaking ball?? Like they are always waiting for someone else to do it or hoping for luck instead of taking responsibility and going after the game .. or when they are always setting for the next play that doesn’t come instead of focusing on the current play and making the most of it right now..
