Adam Doueihi #227

I usually take Kenty with a grain of salt, but on his podcast today he claimed to know for a fact that the issues raised in the Galvin dossier were the exact same ones Doueihi had... and that nothing has been addressed since.

Looking at the trend over the last 12 months with Galvin, TDS, Luai, and now Doueihi potentially looking for the exit, it’s hard not to feel like where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Sure, journos talk shit all the time, but number of departures suggests there’s truth to it.

There was a non disclosure agreement as part of Galvins exit - you dont put that in place unless there is something you dont want getting out.

Except TDS and Luai left for $$ not because of the coach. The number of resignings suggest they quite like the coach. However the results suggest the coach isn't right for the job.

I'm sure that info is from Isaac Moses as he would be the only one across both incidents...its a Moses agenda.

This!!
If not for PNG
- Luai would have seen out his contract.

Media and clowns carrying on like PNG was a real threat when Luai signed a contract with clauses.
We’re the Bears even a thing at the back end of 2024 when the deal was struck with Luai?

BS he would have.
I remember when it was announced we signed this pussy flog and everyone in here was pulling themselves stupid, a few of us said “there’s no way in hell this bloke plays longer than three years here”.
We were attacked by the usual mob and as per usual have been proven correct.
Just like Richardson, he ran for the door at first opportunity.

Horseshit!!
Who else is dumb enough to pay him the amount we are?

If it wasn’t for 2 new teams - which weren’t confirmed at the time, he’d have had no where to go!

It only took him less than 2 years to find someone.
This prick was never ever staying. Not ever and if you thought he was going to, than you’re as thick as pig dung.

Kinda says alot about the joint doesnt it?

What they are both entitled twats with the same manager?

WTF turns up with a dossier, only the biggest douchebags in existence come to a work meeting with a dossier and their legal reps / managers, without informally raising their concerns directly in the years prior.

You put an NDA in Galvin's exit because (1) it stops the chat (i.e. kills the story) after he leaves; (2) Tigers held the contract and could dictate exit terms.

TDS went for the exit when we renewed Api. Even at Parramatta he's usually off the bench and they haven't played Finals.

Luai was asked to leave.

Of course there are major issues but I wager the players themselves are as much to blame - the expectations of the juniors that come through and the mindset / calibre of players we are able to sign.

E.g. Galvin - huge personal expectations without any performance, regardless was offered a massive contract at Tigers, teased the Eels, went to Bulldogs. Is he Origin-level footy at Bulldogs? Are Bulldogs in the middle of a dynasty? Probably not. So as much as the club would be to blame, also the player is not faultless here for huge expectations too early, and not performing to that level at the new club either.

Hmmm, could be the case. If it’s the same thing I saw with Kent he also said Galvin was happy to see out his contract, which contradicts entirely the previous reporting of him seeking a release at least 3 times.
Media hey, expect some truth to some things and a whole lot of opinions mixed with gossip.

Galvin did raise this issue prior. In the previous season Richardson had to go to his parents home to have a chat. He raised it on multiple occasions.
It’s such a poor argument to say that blokes like Galvin and TDS aren’t setting the world on fire elsewhere. Of course they struggle…they came through our system and had the barest amount of development.
They will both be very good players one day and we’ll rue letting them go so easily.
Same goes for a few we have currently. Makasini is being ruined and I’ll bet he will leave soon too.

When Richardson had that chat with his parents in his first year, he clearly said I will see my contract out. He also clearly gave close to zero indication he would be staying past that.
People only hear what they want to suit their narrative most of the time.

No it didn’t
- it took 2 new teams with the promise of zero taxes and unlimited 3rd party backing of a whole country…

Even you can see that - if you can’t write it down, I can’t help you.

He always had something up his sleeve. That’s why he had those getaway clauses.
He eventually had to show what a hypocrite he is though…it was inevitable.

What sort of development did they miss out on here vs another club?
