Addo-Carr

Had a couple of shockers tonight and he's young and raw still but pace is what you need out wide which he has.
This has all the hallmarks of being our second mistake for wingers like Koroibete.

Ado, He looked very average. ….On a side note, I was watching the Cape Fear Insane surfing comp earlier in the week and one of the pro surfers was wearing a WestTigers tracksuit top. Loving our brand going global , as that Comp does.

I would swap him for Rankin based on goal kicking and signing with Melbourne.

1.bombed try
2.dropped bomb in dry conditions with no pressure.
3.Horrible defensive read that directly led to try.

He may have lost concentration tonight after inking his future.

Everyone is entitled to a bad game every now and then. We need his lightning pace, jeez I wish he was staying! I think he'll really flourish under Bellamy. Look what happened with Koro.

eh, he wasnt that bad aside from the two early mistakes

i swear people on this forum have a memory of precisely one game. nothing more.

people were rallying the troops, signing petitions and the whole lot 4 days ago about this guy now we're happy to piss him off after a couple of knock ons in what cant be more than his 6th or 7th NRL game ever

I think you're missing the point.
We all know he has potential, but it's not going to be fulfilled this year. Why have a winger who is currently reserve grade standard playing first grade based on potential when they are leaving at the end of the season anyway.

Hmmm ..I'm just watching again…the way he gave up for South's last TRY was bad...when Johnsron tapped it back in he just stood there and watched....

I would keep him for now but more of that back to ISP...

offers way more in attack than rankin for mine, and great scramble D with his speed

rankin has a goal kicking game though and probably better D and error rate, so that evens it up

doesnt matter tooo much either way, i dont think either are a great long term wing solution

I wouldn't give him another shot after that effort.
Pack ya bags JAC and hit the road …. A disgusting purple Jersey awaits you ....

Was a bit angry watching that live. Thought to myself why would he just give up on it. Not good enough. Though his scramble on souths line breaks and the way he got back for those was good, often got back and forced them to make that extra pass which they either got tackled or bombed it!

Ado - Carr had an absolute shocker. He may have chased back in defense but;
- he made two simple knock ons, one that would have given the Tigers an early try
- he came in on a play which resulted in a Souths try
- he stood around watching when Souths scored their last try from a tap back
but;
- he is a first grade talent
- he will play more starring roles this year
- we don't have any other legitimate first grade replacements
And, I'm hanging on to the thread of a chance that he might back flip and stay with us.

so overhyped, especially when you hear johns talk about his power.lmao

so fast so much power and a massive 2 trys to his name.

will be in super league before his contract expires at the storm.

Don't understand the talk of his bad defensive read leading to a try, Brooks stopped and commited to the man on his inside shoulder which forced Simona and Addo-Carr in and it became catch and pass for Souths from there.
That being said, he struggles a bit in the dirty carries off our line (I recall some saying drop Nofo for JAC previously but these metres are invaluable) and as much as he supposedly wanted to be with the club, it's hard to look past the fact that he's leaving at the end of the year. We're not going to win the premiership this year, bring up Rankin, Hunt or Heleta (probably more upside of the three) and build for the next few years.
He'll be a player under Bellamy though, and that's going to hurt (especially in a house full of Storm fans).

I don't think it is the end of the world that he is leaving, his defensive reads are very poor but I don't think he is a winger he looks more like a centre,& I think that is where he will end up in Melbourne.

not our problem.
should spend the rest of the year in ISC.
why should we give him the remainder of the year first grade experience to benefit to the storm?
