What's the deal with the new ad tab that drops down? Very annoying.

Yeah it sux ducks.
It is over the top of the options drop down thingy, top left corner and you have to be very precise with your thumb or the ad drops down again. Sheets me to the point that I just flick off and come back later.

I've disabled my ad blocker on this site to see what you are talking about and I still can't get an ad to pop up.

I am getting a drop down box ad from the top of the screen on my phone, and even when the ad is tucked away it still has a little arrow tab bit on the left that hangs down a little further over the top of, and covers, the main menu lines/button so that it makes it difficult to hit the main menu button. Very annoying.

Fat fingers and deteriorating eye sight keep me off the phone for the most part.

Samsung has an inbuilt ad blocker that seems to work pretty good.
And a vpn works wonders

I have an iPhone and I always get ads. PC + firefox + ad blocker == no ads basically ever.

I'm not sure if phone apps are as good as the browser apps but that doesn't make any sense to me just thinking about it.

About the only annoying part is when you go to sites that detect the adblocker and want you to disable it for that site before you can proceed.

Just disable cookies option in settings (samsung)
Don't need to disable ad blocker ever....unless you're a fan of waterslides
