Im on android, pretty clean on Brave (free browser with less/no ads - I've heard it's good for "other things" but wouldn't know) but mostly forget and get to see a bunch of weird ads when I use chrome.

The scammers need to up their game, the poor old bloke died a couple of years ago.

Just to add a suggestion.

I know the forum needs to make money, so we should all assist where we can in making that a possibility.

Maybe it's been thought about before, but what about a pinned section for product/service affiliate links where the commission goes back to the forum?

I think people would be reasonably willing to support that.
