AFTER ONE WEEK

I get the feeling we are under a heap of pressure, I think a few players are under done, a few players are playing wounded, a few players should have retired, a few players have been reading the papers and getting carried away with all the hype.
The next few weeks will be crucial, we need to be around 4 from 8 at very worst after the first two months. Comps are not won in March, but early points are what get you into the top four.

Its going to take a very big effort to get the team back on track, I just keep seeing Parra in 2010 and think we might be the Parra in 2011\. Fine line between champagne and beer

I think mckinnon is under the most pressure…moltz back...brown could take his place...
... he needs to step his game up...
its only the 1st game of the season, so im not overally outraged...
but our forwards...i.e Heighno and Ellis...need to start making there mark...
... this could be the week we get into it...Leichhardt....20k (hopefully) screaming fans....
they'll lift up

I don't think Supercoach means individuals, he means the team as whole is under pressure.

Sometimes it's hard to get traction, i hope we can find a win this weekend because it's only going to get harder and 0-4 could be a likely scenario.

I dont think we are. I think this loss will serve us well in the long run. The Dogs had a lot to prove and came out with a great attitude, a much better attitude than us. We will get better, but i doubt the dogs can do much more than what they did. I bet if Souths have a go they will beat the dogs this week.

We wont start hitting our straps until we have a few wake up calls and settle on our number 1\. Expect a big finish to the season from us rather than being up there from the start.

I guess we will see after a couple of weeks Supercoach. My feeling is that most of your suspicions are facts - certainly the wounded players and the press readers. Early days yet to be calling retirements.

I thought that the only thing holding McKinnon back in the few matches he played for us last year was combinations. That shouldn't be an excuse now and so it will be very interesting to see how he goes over the next couple of weeks. At least that position seems to be well covered.

More concerning is the forwards situation with, it would seem. at least half the starting pack injured and possibly not the depth of replacements we had been thinking was there.

You can't map a trend from one data point. This week will tell us some more about our team and prospects for 2011\. Don't forget we fought back from many tough positions last year. I am backing us to do the same this weekend.

i think the time to worry is when the doctor says you have cancer - its only football - enjoy your life people - life is too short - get on with it -

Sheens has said before that early wins are important as it takes the pressure off later on so IMO he will be pushing to get the early wins.

Winning Games Relieves pressure and adds fun.

Having fun usually means a team will win more games….

Just gotta jag that first one.

Now I have heard it all. My 3 kids, wife, job and the mortgage are trivial things. _**The time to worry is when we lose a game.**_

If Marshall has another average game, he will be under even more pressure now Shees has conceded his off field dramas have affected him (reason, not excuse mind you)

Our Forwards are underdone and carrying injuries. Only two out of hte whole pack had a good offseason.. the others all had ops or niggling injuries.

Tonight, Farah was crook

itll be a good 5 to 6 weeks before things come together.

Getting through to the Bye with a positive win record will be a big boost
