Age of our recruits for 2018?

Its a mixed blend.

If you look at our lower grades we are struggling across the board

Getting the old stable in will enable a few years to build our structre, organisation and player development pool over time whilst take pressure & expectation off the young brigade.

If managed well step change glide path planning can be highly effective for a rebuild. This also shows a decent vision is being considered as well.

I do hope we get a nice youth talent blend to add depth & rotation over time into the mix.

I am not saying I disagree with the approach.

Just wanted to start a discussion among fans to gauge the different opinions.

Just playing devils advocate the last time we signed a bunch of experienced players it was an utter disaster.

Field
Hoppa
Hill
Seers
McCracken

One could argue those players that discipline issues before they were signed though.

Yeah think it should resemble more of 2004 recruits in Hodgson Elford Whatuira Prince Sattler Patten and to a lesser extent Graham.
Would really like to pick up a quality centre out there idk maybe from England.

I think if you had the choice you'd have older experienced halves and forwards with younger outside backs. See Sharks for an example.

We've never had that balance before. I definitely prefer it than blooding young players who might leave when they're good first graders for more money.
