I interpret that to mean if AJ comes it will be because Maguire believes he can add value. He won't be here because Souths need to move him on.

Don't know how anyone will satisfy Melbourne's "like for like" demand for 2020, unless Storm are open to trading Gagai for Fox.

But I understand Gagai is on about double what Fox is, so I don't know how the maths would work out.

Gagai is the Greg Eastwood situation repeated. If he's happy to keep playing where he is, there's no particular reason for him to move, esp. out of Sydney. He's just turned 29 and his standing has fallen significantly due to indifferent club form, so I don't see who is going to pick up his ~$700K contract or extend it until he retires.

At $700k huh? If he had a sidelining injury we could be interested?

I really don't know why people are hung up on this kid. He's a looong way from a first grade spot.

He wasn't listed because he isn't contracted to WT. He'll get a CC contract in a couple of months time (unless we're desperate) and we'll see where he's at with form and fitness throughout the year. Might get signed as number 30 in our roster. He only played 4 games last year, and 2of those he didn't even last 12 mins. Played a dozen games the season before. He's had injury after injury and needs time to physically and mentally prove he's ready play week to week for starters.

The only thing I remember about his Social Media interaction is when he had a meltdown over crowds at Ctown and threatened to take games away. Very professional.

We got....hang on....

We got freed up cap space 400k roughly and we got rid of a sook and someone that would have disrupted the whole team and caused havoc.

I would say that is favourable to the Wests Tigers myself.
