Souths and Madge fan. We all hope latrell doesn’t sign for you. If he does that it goes terribly.

What do you Rabbits fans think of AJ as a fullback?

I generally rate him higher than the vast majority of others.

To me he is a super solid fullback both defensively and under the high ball, he won't let you guys down in terms of basics and fundamentals but I feel he is limited in those extra's which is what it takes to be that extra level No.1.

Given he is 24 years of age there is some room for further development and for the right price it's not a bad signing considering he is an option on the Wing and is a very reliable finisher.

It's a tough one because I can't see Alex Johnston's presence help push the Tigers too far up the ladder, he just isn't that X Factor Fullback.

Brooks & Johnston will be one of the key combinations because AJ to his credit reads kicks really well but I think the spine is overall too patchy for the signing to be kind of rubber stamped as a great one.

If you had a spine similar to the health of Melbourne's with at least two world class players and a reliable understanding between them i'd put AJ's signature as more effective.

beers and pizza

Solves a lot of problems...

I think Latrell will be at Rorters training on the 6th of Jan...which is going to make a lot of jurno's look stupid who said he'd be gone by Jan 1..

Direct quotes from the bar chick at the Old bar Pub..Hi Teresa..

Would be real funny if he re-signed at easts after all this carry on, a few clubs would be left red faced, and trying to get a plan B ready

Souths fans love our forum

I'm not just a Souths fan, I came on board when Madge signed with the Tigers to coach.

I feel forever indebted to him for what he did for my club so whatever club he is a part of, I'll feel apart of too.

Mate I don't know if you could stand the pain and frustration of following this club, but welcome, and thanks for the info

Not sold. But could be better than Corey

Thanks for your honesty mate 🙂

'Could be better than Corey' should be the title of any book written about our summer recruiting. Not exactly exciting, but I guess we are used to it by now.

Enjoy Lattrell and Arrow....any other plodders you want to offload just give us a call 😉

Thanks for the summary. To be honest, from what I have seen, he will be a better FB than Corey...faster, bigger and safer.

He racked up 10 or so try assists last year I noticed. Does he have a decent passing / linking game?

A Madge supporter does not make a tigers supporter

Well it does if i am a second year Tigers member....A lot of people wouldn't make the effort.

Every fan has to start somewhere

Speculation makes us look like fools.

Nah that’s assumptions. Speculation makes you a WT forum member.

After JAC states to Bellamy this week that he needs to move to sydney. then i hope it's all on without all the demands Melbourne expect. Welcome Home JAC

So wonder what the numbers are for AJ seems like the writing is on the wall for him coming here. I've seen $650,000 mentioned and around the $350,000. Obviously i'd be much happier if we paid the latter amount as we already have M'bye on fullback money playing centre we dont need AJ on fullback money playing on the wing. But we have form in this area so anything is possible.

I find it very hard to believe he would accept anywhere near $350k especially when he knows his role is likely FB which generally constitutes a fairly decent salary.
