LOL this is absolutely a stupid thread. It was me poking fun at the other apologise thread and how ridiculous that was.

But to his credit, Seyfarth WAS good tonight. For mine he showed up Mikaele in the effort areas and should keep his spot.

I had not commented on Seyfarth before but I would drop him.

Tamou, Twal and Seyfarth are all good defenders but we need some forwards who are good defenders that also average over 150m per game. Seyfarth averages 46.

Seyfarth played well tonight and got a few great turnovers but I would use him as a backup in case Twal or Tamou are injured or suspended.

Hopefully Musgrove and Stefano can become the top tier forward that we need. Mikaele is doing well this year as a 25-30min impact player.

Funnily enough I don't know him but just looked him up and considering his last name is Blair and he grew up around Lake St Clair I would think he is a part of my step Grandmothers very extended family lol.

He's a good defender, has a good motor for a prop and understands the game. However he offers very little impact off the bench. We can carry two of Tamou, Twal and Seyfarth type players at most.

The Seyfarth type isn't really useful in the current high speed game. You either need to be a big post-contact metre forward who can get over the advantage line or be a forward with ball-playing ability and footwork who can create second phase play or generate quick play the balls. He'll never be the first, but with some work could be passable in the second role.

There's no problem with him being in first grade for the time being, but Utoikamanu and Musgrove offer significantly more upside in a team where we realistically will be carrying Tamou and Twal for the foreseeable future.

I've usually only voted Independent for quite a few elections now and this guy sounds the best of them to me.
Unfortunately not to many Independents are elected though.

Seyfarth together with Papenhuyzen, Suli and Doueihi were the standouts in a Balmain SG Ball team. Even then, Seyfarth had height, mobility, a high work rate and that undefeated attitude which often makes the difference between an NRL player and NSW Cup player. He's going to be a wonderful forward.

Big thing from Seyfarth last night. He passed the ball more times then the rest of our pack combined. He creates by having options. His decence and effort are great and he runs hard. Cant ask much more from a forward

All effort. He was OK in the games last year.

But maybe needed a bit of time.
He is integral to our future, I hope we offer him a new contract.

I started watching the Tigers game preaching to my mate about how we need a Mitch Barnett or Elliot Whitehead effort player in our side. Little do I know we might have our own in the making.

I think Twal has been one of our best players all year.
