I was one of those who thought our team won’t go anywhere with players like Twal.
Honestly, after years of plodding (let’s call it) I didn’t think he had it in him.
But how he has turned it around this year. OMG.
I am thrilled for him and happily serving myself a big ol helping of humble pie.
And if he keeps playing like this, he would have to be in the conversation for origin selection (if eligible).

I think you know I’ve always had a soft spot for the big guy. I backed him to score his first try from his 50th game. 50 odd games straight, on tilt by the end. But he still needs to score a decent try. Come on Twally you Giant Sloth, break the line 10 out and plant one down!!!
I remember his debut year he didn’t miss a tackle for the first 6 months. I love a bloke that doesn’t shirk his work.

Don't care about stats and haven't seen his work in defence, but his attack has been amazing. I genuinely had no idea he could do what he has been doing.

I know Twal has been blowing everyone's mind this year, but I honestly thought his performances last year weren't that far behind what he's serving up now. The obvious difference is the offloading (a flick pass...who would've thought!) but he's been consistently hitting the ball at speed over the last two seasons and pinching 10-15 metres at a time. The way he picks his time to run off a fast ruck is becoming Yeo-like. Anyway, all the love in the world to the big fella. I hope we win a premiership while he's still in the team because there's no one I'd like to see hoist that trophy more than Twally.

if he was playing for roosters or Dogs he would be in the mix for origin
