Hearing Benji had a blinder....he will no doubt play the media game to put pressure to get into the 17 or a starting role

The only people who thought that would have been Ray Charles Stevie Wonder and Ben Cummins if he watched it

This is the headline:

Marshall turns back clock in All Stars thriller
Form is temporary, but class, class is permanent.

It would take a bloody long time to wind a clock back 10 years though.

Musgrove set to miss two games with an early plea. Seems pretty over the top to me but was a stupid play from him, he'll now miss two really big games against Canberra and roosters.

What an absolute idiot.
All he needs to do though is head to the judiciary with that bloke who got Slater off his shoulder charge to play in a GF a few years ago. Foolproof.

He didn’t cock his arm though . He just wrecked him with his shoulder . I thought the action of cocking your arm was what defined a shoulder charge . It’s not Union .

If there is separation between your arm and your torso you can possibly argue that you were attempting to tackle. If not, you're having a spell on the sidelines.
Also seems based on which club you play for. Wighton on Joel Edwards in our last game of 2016.....head contact and knocked him senseless but was free to play the next week. Ennis prelim final in 2016......head contact to the opposition with his shoulder, no wrapping motion with the arms, no problem sir you are free to play in the GF. Slater in '16(?) prelim final.......blatant shoulder charge, no worries bro- free to play in the GF.
JWH every 2nd week gets away with shoulder charges. Musgrove plays for the wrong club, hence he will get done for it.
Regardless, it was an absolutely moronic decision by him, it was never going to end well.

JFH was by far the best player on the field. Was MoM within the first 20 minutes tbh.

LM and Joey Manu were a class above when they tried. I really hope another team picks up Manu and gives him a shot at fullback.

As expted slow and scrappy for the first game of the season.

Hope another team picks up Manu? Is he off contract soon or something? Not that contracts mean anything these days.
Roosters won't let Manu go IMO, he's already got a well-established seat under the sombrero. They'll fit 'em all in as usual.

He's achieved back to back premierships, played international at centre, been centre of the year and all around been a matchwinner in that position. If I was his manager, I would push for him to be a starting fullback at a club, not just coz of the money but for the professional challenge as well.

Also, he was just a class above in that game. Just too fast, too strong, too smart and too good.

Would have to employ the services of a good old fashioned used car dealer to wind back that clock.

A '67 Monaro with only 10 000 on the clock. A Nick special. The fella with the falsies will call dibs on that.
