All-Star Wests Tigers

With less than a week to go in voting for the NRL All-Stars side, Wests Tigers players Robbie Farah, Aaron Woods, Chris Lawrence and Tim Moltzen are all in contention to join Wayne Bennett's side.

Benji Marshall and Cameron Smith are automatic inclusions in the side to take on the Indigenous All-Stars at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday, 9th February, by virtue of captaining their countries.

Only one player from each club is eligible for Wayne Bennett’s NRL All Stars, while fans can choose from all of Rugby League’s best Indigenous talent for Laurie Daley’s Indigenous All Stars. The final squads will be announced in Brisbane on January 16.

Almost 16,000 fans have already registered their selections at [www.nrl.com/allstars](http://www.nrl.com/allstars) for the 16 prized public-chosen spots in the 20-man squads for both teams for the fourth annual All Stars match .

“It is a really unique opportunity for the fans to get to decide who they want to see playing in this match, but there is only a few days left to get in and make their vote count ,” Daley said.

No way Moltzen . Woods has earn t a spot and should be rewarded .If Moltzen gets it what sort of message are we sending to the players.
It might be a bit of a joke to some but Im sure the players look at it differently especially the younger ones.

It sends the message we don't want our good players getting injured in a mickey mouse nothing game

Moltzen for me. He needs it more than the others. We have to make a man out of him. The sooner the better - vote cast Allstars.

I voted Moltzen as well.

Double Edged sword really - I don't like the fact our superstars can get injured here - Brent Tate is the perfect example of how it can all go wrong.

Moltzen would benefit from the exposure to quality players, and as he seems to be a confidence player, nothing would give they guy a shot in the arm more than being voted into the team in-front of Farah, Woods and the like.

and of course the other side of the coin is if he happens to get injured, then it makes the selection headaches at fullback a little easier to digest for now.

Personally I hope he tears it up and regains some of the form he had in 2010.

x 7 Moltzen

Forgot to add , I've done it to see what Moltzen's attitude will be like and if hasn't changed from 2012 at least Potter will see that close up

dont want to see any tigers playing, the game is a shame. they all [This word has been automatically removed] about too much football then they throw this in. To much chance of getting injured this early in the year.
My thoughts only.

Romelo is an interesting choice - gives this team some real mongrel power - with Bird and Rose already there.

Aidan Sezer?? He's from a working class Anglo Family in Bankstown! I'm probably more indigenous than he is!

Jack Wighton?! he looks like Jacob Miller!!

I'm not trying to stir up trouble here, but exactly HOW indigenous do you have to be?

I think a pre-requisite of thee Indigenous team should be to not only name which tribe you are from, but SPELL the name of the Tribe before you can be counted….

Would probably keep Blake Fergusson out of the team as well.

I think it is 1/16th to be classified as indigenous.

I always thought Jacob Miller was Koori? he looks it anyway it doesnt matter how much aboriginal blood they have if they class themselves aboriginal then respect there wishes is tahu in the allstars side? hes aboriginal/maori?

If Miller looks Koori then Pettybourne looks Chinese

Woulda thought Woods would get our plebs pick…..hopefully farah gets little game time and comes thru OK
