All the Round 17 team news!

There are not many first grade players that were not in the team last week that can be picked.
Maybe it is time to define the roles differently. Who is making the decisions and distributing the ball from the middle? Who is supporting when a player makes a break in the middle third?

The only real guys I want to see play are Madden and Simpkin. We’ve seen what the rest of them have to offer so not sure who else could come in. Blore maybe but he’s not very fit.

Like it or not brooks is part of the future for the next few years at this point. Benji shouldn’t be there for sure.

I am hoping Liddle gets bigger minutes this week, Blore doesn’t look fit enough to play more than 15 mins.

Who said they needed surgery? Some randoms on the forum? All players play through injury and deal with it in the off season, I don’t see any other clubs opting to give their guys early surgery. They’ll still be back in time for pre season.

Well if Brooks is the future the future does not look to bright ... what a joke this club is a backbone of a jelly fish !

He was never gonna make major changes. Made a change to the back line which is what I predicted and the rest is virtually the same.

Yes - all the genius' s with no accountabilty. Apart from that he still has to manage a group of players who have contracts at the club and will mostly be there next season too.

....yet we name: Marshall, ET, Packer, Reynolds, Lawrence and leave out of the 21: Blore (who was the only one trying to offload the ball last week) and Madden

I’d be surprised if Blore plays another game. Doesn’t look fit at all to me and has only been given limited minutes because of it. Had no pre season and coming off a bad injury it’s understandable.

I cringe at Mybe at the back, I close my eyes every time a bomb is sent his way (and by the way he catches I suspect he's doing the same) however I think this is ultimately a sign we are looking for a fullback, if AD the guy we signed to replace Mybe at the back gets trialed in the centres don't think Mybe has a starting spot next year.

Trying new combinations or giving players a chance is more important at this stage. As for a rookie half, could he really do any worse?

**Seyfarth** Off contract and average
**Simpkin** deserves a run
**Dylan Smith** off contract and looks average
**Jock Madden** Deserves a run
**Talau** Has been down on form, played plenty this season

Really not many options for Madge when you look at it. People wouldn’t be happy if we played Seyfarth, Clark and McQueen over forwards who are actually contracted for next season?

Simpkin and Madden the only two who really deserve a shot
