An Apology from Me...

hey WTFers,
i have just read the thank you thread to the SES people over there.

just the other day in the Brooks/Moses thread i posted about what lovely weather we have been having here in perth. my intent in doing so was only to say that i was tired of how many brooks and moses threads there have been. you know "nice weather lately…".

a lot of people think this is very unusual, but i dont watch the news, nor do i read any newspapers, and as such i had no idea sydney has been experiencing severe weather that has caused a lot of destruction and pain.

in light of this, the timing of my comment could easily have been taken out of context and as a very heartless thing to post during this time. if it has been misinterpreted, i apologise unreservedly for any offence i have caused anyone as this is certainly not my intention at all.

No offence taken. Certainly understood the context. We're a thick skinned lot here… lol. Anyway glad to hear the weather is good in other parts of the country. Today has been a little easier, winds are dying down and rain is easing. I even saw a patch of blue sky for about a 1 minute this afternoon.

You know that over the other side of the Great Divide we would relish this sort of weather, minus the gale force winds of course, while we have had some rain it didn't force the cancellation of the local show and we still haven't found out the limitations of the levee banks around the town, nor was the highway closed because water went over one lane.
Commiserations to all the people who have suffered from those incredible scenes I have watched.
