I think Madge has to go. I think Brooks has to go. But if you blame Madge for Brooks's inability to do anything creative or remotely deceptive while attacking then you would have to acknowledge Ivan the terrible as the best coach in the NRL due to Nathans "smarts".

I mean watching that doco the other night when Madge lost his shit at Brooks kicking to the tallest man on the field, i actually felt sorry for Madge that he would have to tell an NRL halfback to kick to someone smaller. Made me realise the micro managing the guy has to do.

No one hates Maguire TT. Truth is we look a very poorly coached team and have done so all year. There seems to be a disconnect between him and the playing group. The situation is untenable.

the issue is that these players played better than Mbye, JTJ, BJ, AJ!

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. it's either the coach OR the players OR the board/CEO. It CANNOT be a COMBINATION of MANY variables. Sacking Madge means we have to START A NEW REBUILD, even though we could easily continue this one with a NEW COACH.

ye. no more sarcasm. We can easily sack madge, and get another coach, who can coach, to teach these players, without needing to "start a new rebuild." It's a myth that if we sack Madge, we have to start again. He can't sign anyone and he can't coach the current crop. It makes sense to get a new coach, AND CONTINUE down this current path. Yet everyone acts like we only have two options: keep Madge, or another rebuild. It's not reality.

I agree, we can get a new coach without starting from scratch. Things seem to be working under NRL level so there’s no reason we can’t move on.

agree, but I doubt the gameplay was inside balls and kick to the big guy. playmakers look at what's happening and make it happen. Benji would have got us points today and a win. But we went for Brooks
