Yep, back when I last posted here in Round 3, and what a painful period it has been for a Raiders fan since then.

Put simply, if we lose this then officially our season is done. Finished. And we are no chance. If we do win the game, I ensure you'll get to see Raider_Joey, who will storm the field. That is how confident I am of a loss, and an end to 2011.

We've been rabble. No chance for success this season. And why this is the case? I have NFI. Campese's injury has been a huge loss for us…. put simply we are nothing without him. When he does come back, it will take most of the season to get into the rhythm of things IMO.

Most coaches would be able to work wonders with a roster that the Raiders currently possesses. On paper, not many can beat it. But Furner has no idea on how to utilise them, and TBH he has no idea on how to coach. The worst in the NRL IMO. We have no game plan, no set plays and no structure. You ensure Utai and Ryan are safe under the high ball and you'll have no problems this week. That is our only play. Bomb to Vidot or Ferguson.

As for this weekend, we have never beaten a team that consists Benji Marshall, and haven't beaten your mob since 2008.

Bar maybe one or two players, none are in form.

White, Shillington, Vidot, Harrison, Croker, Thompson, Tongue, Miller, and Learoyd-Lahrs are all playing horrendously.

My prediction: 98-0

Who would've thought? According to Phil Gould this weekend was supposed to be a curtain raiser to the NRL Grand final, but both teams have been nothing short of ordinary. While the Tigers have been only ordinary, the Raiders have been garbage, rabble, inept, frustrating, pathetic etc.

It's tough being a Raiders fan. 😢

The Raiders forum should be called THE KENNEL instead of the bulldogs forum.

Hey Joey….love your work.....two teams playing like busteds should be a cracker.....

Oh Joey! I feel your pain in that post, mate. Let's think positively for a moment - maybe this will be the game that puts both our teams back on track for 2011\. It's still early days, all is not lost yet. In any case, the Raiders will definitely be a different team when Campo returns and I don't think he will take that long to get back up to speed - the good ones never do. So, keep smiling

apart from 89 i have no real ill feelings towards the raiders.

i hope you guys go well joey.

though not next week.

i think campo is the difference.

As a Queenslander have always liked the Raiders . Expect this game to be a very desperate affair for both teams . We have won our last three in a row down there so i don't think we will go down there with any fears . Don't think it will be 98-0 especially if Moltzen is still fillback

Haha welcome back champ, we'll probably play you back into form and a win…we havent won away this year

This could be the first week I tip against the Tigers … although I caught a bit of the game today and reckon since Bronson had a "hot" game, his next one might be "cold"?! lol
I always like WT v Raiders games. I think it'll be a good game

with our defence of late maybe its us that will lose 98-0

You have a very good strike weapon in Josh Dugan.
at the moment wests-tigers fullback is getting his confidence back.
that in itself is a big advantage to raiders.
if both teams play to their potential, it will be a very entertaining game.
we just do not know who the bounce of the ball or 50/50 ref decisions will favour in the game on sunday.

We have David Furner as our coach. Case closed. That alone gives us no chance.

I wouldn't write the Raiders off just yet Joey. The Tigers might be without Ayshford and Ellis this week, and even if they are not, the Tigers have no sting in their defence at the moment and their execution out wide is not particularly good, even Marshall has gone very quiet over the last 2 weeks and Farah has not been at his best all season.

Toss of a coin this week IMO. If the Raiders forward pack somehow finds form, they will win. If Marshall snaps out of a daydream and the Tigers learn to tackle, I think they'll be too good.

Why would we be without Ellis and Ayshford??

Both have ankle injuries, apparently. Don't know if they're definitely out as yet, but it's looking that way, particularly with Ellis.

If we have a back 3 of Ryan, Moltzen, Utai then bombing them repeatedly will probably work very well.

I agree, with that back 3 an opposition coach would be negligent not to employ that tactic.
Add the tigers current commitment to defense and new found struggle to score more than 2-3 tries per game and the raiders are looking a very good chance indeed.
Infact, id say if the raiders cant beat the tigers in their current form, they wont win another game. lets see how bad they really are. i think ur being overly pessimistic raider_joey.

Or perhaps i am?
