Longmuir was the bloke on L-plates - and he was never going to get on to his Ps!!!

Humphreys is a bloke who understands business in the real world - unlike Osborne and many others!

Fifita wants to stay - and we want him to! I am unconcerned by these rumours!

haha, you are kidding me right? L Plater? The bloke was senior manager with Qantas/BA. He IS a successful manager. He has done everything right this year, I certainly can't fault the guy from what I've seen.

Don't ever underestimate how much a son can pick up from a successful father either.

I for one hope the Fifita rumors aren't true. For once, our forward pack looked like something special with him and Murdoch on the bench. If Fifita is a gumby though, I can't think of a better club for him to go to than the bulldogs. He'll fit right in.

I hope that the Senior players can straighten him out.

If he is playing games, the Club should take a stand. Dont upgrade his contract, dont give him a release. If his manager arranges for him to "get caught" doing something naughty, dont terminate him, play him in Reserve Grade until his contract expires and see how his VALUE is after that!!!

Nope. I wouldn't read too much into it, he'll trot out for the Tigers in round 1 next year.

I have no doubt about that Willow, I vaguely remember hearing/reading somewhere that he was a Penriff junior or came through the juniors system before moving to Griffith, and thought that may have been the catalyst for the Penriff rumour.

The last thing the Pamfers need are forwards.
 
Maybe Humpy WAS boss at Qantas but is that so special?Qantas is struggling.He has only been at Wests for 1 year and already hes being hailed as the Tiger Woods of management.lol
Needs to work on his recruietmen skills re Cayless,Ryan and Fitzhenry.Lets not get carried away after 2010.He didnt win us all those games did he.Discipline and defence got us to where we ended up.Not the Humpyman.I am Cogger.

I'd rather fly with QANTAS over most other airlines champion, they've still got an impeccable safety record by comparison to most others. Perhaps you're right about singing his praises too early on in the piece but from we've seen he looks to be the real McCoy and dues should be given when the future looks this promising, a large part of which is his doing.

Sounds like he's trolling more than anything Troy. Anyone with half a brain would realise the benefits Humphreys has brought to the Tigers so far.

Yeah … of course Humphreys is to blame?! I mean, it's not like he gave Campbelltown and Leichhardt an extra game each year, signed Benji for life, signed Tuqiri, re-signed other juniors like Dwyer, secured a unique sponsorship deal that's one of the most lucrative in the NRL, brought Steve Folkes in and gave him the resources he needs to get this team up to the elite level they need to be for this competition (which was very evident this year) and increased membership numbers. ALL IN HIS FIRST YEAR.

Who recruited Lortay, Ellis, signed Benji 4 Life and extended Galloway, Fulton, Dwyer and Moltzen's contract then…
