Andrew Johns protest over Pole sinbin

Serious question , after Abdo basically comes out and agrees with John’s , whos actually made the decision to mess with the game like this ? Is it Annelsley ? Wouldn’t surprise me , that self serving sycophant .
Is it the Sutton brigade who are in charge of the ref ranks ? Someone else ?
My Galaxy brain take on this , is there was a debate in the nrl about what the punters actually wanted/ some nrl executive put this in place despite being warned it would cause major dramas , and the refs went mental with it to prove a point .

It’s interesting. Some time in recent weeks someone told the bunker to start nit picking (inconsistently) but nobody is owning it. Something smells off.
 
Something must have happened, for Abdo to come out and say there was no crackdown, then blame the players for the past two weeks of garbage. Saying some teams have been penalised lees some more. If what he is saying is true then how can he explain the discrepancy of the last two weeks when prior to that we had the same players playing. The players told the bunker for the past two weeks go back as far as you want during play to see if someone needs to be sin binned. Who ever is in charge of the ref's and bunker needs to be fired, they're both beyond crap atm. The ref's less so as they're on the pitch dealing with the players, but the bunker, just get rid of the stupid thing. As far as abdo goes that guy reminds me of a snake oil salesman, iv hot no doubt he's been brought in to just get the game more appealing for advertisers to cash in on the next t.v deal. All he has done is sanitise it to the point that to make advertisers happy the game is losing its soul. It's a contact sport at speed with big bodies in collisions, things happen.

No statement from the refs. Someone went rogue for sure.
