Been released by Manly as an assistant coach. Says several clubs are interested.

Surely he could offer a lot more then the likes of Rocket Reddy.

Be great for our young halves and maybe to knock some sense into Taylor re tactics etc.

Brooks looked lost for most of last year.

I would love this ,however, Taylor would never allow this IMO.

I think Taylor would be more inclined to have someone like Johns as he is no threat as a head coach. Taylor will keep as many potential head coaches away from the club as he can.

You would think that with Taylor and Kimmorly being half backs during their career that they would be able to coach our halves ? Without paying for someone else.

Kind of makes me question our coaching staff if they cannot do this.

AND HOW HAS THAT WORKED OUT, I ASK.

The problem with Johns is that he has been a first class muppet. I'd hate him to influence the younger players in a negative fashion.

Still he is probably the best player we will ever see and he seems to know a lot about footy.

i think moses is coming along quite well.

these are two 20 year old halves playing together. find any club thats done that to any success in the past 20 years. TWO 20 year old halves together.

cronk, ben hunt and DCE hadn't even debuted at that age.

Would love to have him
But Even if we could afford him. Taylor wouldn't have him here. He'd look,at it as being too threatening. If the halves got better as they would, Taylor would get the Wobblies over it being because of Johns.
He doesn't want anyone here that can see through his useless coaching.

I'd like to think we are interested. Brooks and Moses certainly need to improve their kicking games and could learn a thing or three.

I thought I was alluding to that. To make it clearer imo Taylor is useless. He may do great presentations to boards but that is where it starts and stops for me.

Johns would be fantastic. Tactically great but people like Johns attract players.
The issue is Noddy has already been earmarked to take over from taylor. Noddy turned down other clubs for assistant coaching gigs recently. Never mind Farah, Taylor ha lost the locker room even Kidwell is holidaying with the players whilst they sing taylor songs on Mad Monday..
Imagine the Broncos coin this to Wayne bennett.

Who did johns attract to manly? Mason, burgess, mateo? The two halves they had elected to leave (although one obviously reneged). Since 2012 they have hardly signed anyone of note.

As for holidaying with players of course he shouldn't. I am more surprised that kidwell is!
