Thanks White Tiger

After Demps cleared up the fact he had no link to Newcastle I guess were else would he go

Does anyone get the feeling at some stage (probably after we have all gone to meet our makers ) that the Roosters only competition will be the Roosters

Bellamy is a free agent for 2017\. We should go after him and Melbourne's Accountant!

He didn't want to join us when he was a rookie and we were a basket case. Can't see him wanting to join 15 yrs later after he's established himself as on of the games elite coaches and we're an even bigger basket case.

Just another case of a big name going to a big club for no doubt big bikkies

I hear Leo Dynevor isn't busy at the moment

Of course he has! After all, they need all the help they can get :unamused:

I think Noddy could be a great coach however he'd need to cut back on his seemingly extensive media involvements if given the WT NRL coaching gig. That said, I wouldn't expect the Board to call time on JT until 3 or so months into next season and then only if we are still in the toilet table wise!

Great players don't necessarily make great coaches. Idk why people constantly see a link between the two. People were excited when JT got the job because he was a halfback himself and could mentor Brooks, now they want him gone. Ricky Stuart, great player, crap coach. Terry Lamb, great player, crap coach. Brad Fittler, great player, crap coach. Not sure why people see Johns any differently. The side he was on the coaching staff for this yr didn't make the 8\. Maybe there's a reason he was released.

Wayne Pearce. Great player, better bloke but as a coach just wasn't up to it.

Noddy did well with our 20's this year. You're right about great players not always being great, or even good coaches but Noddy at least shows some potential.

Spot on, Pearce had all the money a great team and we missed the 8, that was the start of the poor years, we needed a better coach in our first year, we needed to at least make the 8, things went sour after that.

The problem is the things that made them great in most cases (seeing things unfold 2 and 3 plays before ) just can't be taught

Lewis was the same

It goes the other way too, look at all the top coaches like Bennett and Bellamy, they never set the world on fire as players. Most wouldnt look twice at them.

I do not know how many games you saw but Noddys next gig should be the under 9s somewhere… The 20s were a terribly coached side sheer talent alone got them where they got ..Noddy is a hopeless coach.

Whatever happened to the Responsible Service Of Alcohol act?, I know if I can't drink anymore I go to bed but seriously this blokes consumption of booze should have been stopped a long time prior to this.

Who cares if he's loose on the squirt or not, so are heaps of other people.

I care because he makes whatever team he is associated with look like muppets plus he may influence the playing group to be muppets as well.

I also have no idea if he can actually coach.

Based on all of that I want nothing to do with the guy.

Disgraceful is probably an exaggeration. He was smashed, tried to chat up a woman, got turned down, made a weird off-colour remark and slept on the floor. It's hardly the Hoff territory…
