Andrew Webster - Warriors new Assistant

Is this a way for the Warriors to make a link with the Kiwi juniors coming through the Keebra Park-Wests Tigers system?
Wests Tigers need to set up their own academy as a way to bring through Keebra players and other country juniors they may sight.

Hey niccoff

Best buddies hey ???

Webster is a bad loss for the club….we is a very good young coach...surprised he only signed for 1 year when he joined us...and the fact Payten wasn't appointed Warriors assistant is not good news for us...

Hey Niccoff
I can not post any more information on this site

Hooray hooray !!!
Thank god and good riddance
Finally niccof has succumbed to the fact that his comments are 3rd and 4th hand
And no longer wants to comment on this forum
Hit the road jack and don't you come back no more no more no more no more !!!!!!

Maybe we should all leave and then you can have the forum to yourself. People leaving a forum and not posting is not a good thing, no matter what you think if them. No doubt you will just tell me to leave a well…

And how many Keebra Park juniors have returned to NZ over the past 10 years to play for the Warriors? None.

Webster is good at analysis and stuff like tactical video sessions, but he lacks the man management skills to be a head coach anytime in the near future. He'll be a lifelong assistant, other than perhaps a brief 6 month - 1 year stint with some side he'd previously been an assistant at.

Players don't follow NYC coaches around. NYC coaches change all the time, as do the players.

Adrian Proszenko from SMH specialises in putting out what Grant Mayer or someone at the club wants out in public.
Mayer then comes out on Twitter and says you shouldn't read what is in the papers and it is just specualtion.

I have observed this a few times in particular when Tedesco was negotiating with the club with Proszenko putting out untruths to make it look like Mayer was doing his best when actually Mayer was doing very little.

Recently Proszenko has given us stories about Mick Potter maybe ending up at St. George and Todd Payten to take up a job at New Zealand Warriors.

@Irvine,Adrian and Grant are in cahoots, both seem to enjoy the limelight…..

Heaven help us if we are to rely on either of their information.......

I'm concerned what's happening in that club

I think its called a broom. And I gotta say Im loving it.This club needs fresh faces and fresh ideas and now with a new board and a removal of all these people with former Balmain and Wests ties in this club will now grow to its full potential.

@Jerry, a new broom sweeps clean best thing to happen in the joint, but geez some want to hang on to history..

As I said on another thread..New fresh board ….New fresh start..

Cheers Jerry....

No worries pal.

A real loss for the Tigers. Andrew has developed the young players since his time in SG Ball. He has a wealth of experience for such a young esp being an assistant coach with Hull KR for 4 years.
He is well liked around the club and is more than just an video analysis. He is great at getting his message across to his team and working with players in developing their individual skills.
He is a coach on the up and a name to watch in the coming years.
Maybe James and Andrew could become the first brothers to coach together at NRL level in the years to come.

As for the broom being swept, the broom was brought out when Potter left, Kidwell and Payten wont be there either so the new coach can bring in his own staff from NYC and up. I was hoping that Andrew would stay though but all the best to him in NZ.

Webster is a loss, but good luck to him. He's obviously chasing very hard to gain as much experience as he can so he can score a top coaching gig. Reckon he'll be coaching FG within 5 years.

It's called career advancement "Snapper". Not just a nice guy, but a very good, first grade coach in the making.
