Angry or Proud?

two emotions that can go hand in hand today.

what do YOU feel more of atm?
I'll have to say proud mainly because the entire season we've had a fair bit of luck and the entire team i knew it would come back to bite us. as peeved off as i am that it was this game it went against us, i love tigers more than i hate bulldogs.. pride it is for me.

Proud of the performance to show it the 'best'. Angry because we should of one with all the field position.

Proud tonight and a little angry, but the rules of the game are obscure, betting controls are too lax and overall the powers that be are trying to create a spectacle to sell rather than a fair game. In other words too many things to be angry about and sometimes they work in our favour, tonight they didn't.

We beat the dogs in most ways, but also beat ourselves with some of our options.

angry and still angry its worse to lose a game like that on a friday night pissed off for the weekend and dont play again til next sunday gotta deal with it for that long

Was so worked up after that heartbreak so I went for a long walk and have come back feeling proud and satisfied with a gutsy, sustained effort. To know we can match it with the minor premiers is extremely positive and if Farah can play on I still have high hopes.

We were on the brink of cementing a place in the top 8 and it was cruelly taken away from us. Now we will struggle to make it - I am livid!

Frustrated. We played so well and got unlucky. We leave the game with stuff all, and might have lost our captain for the last 2 games. Very frustrating night.

Frustrated, angry with the referees.
Im not overly proud, because we have to players to beat every team. We should be pushing ladder leaders .
But, I'm not embarrassed by their defense which is uncommon this year.

I am filthy after this game. We were the better team over the majority of the game and to have it taken away by poor officiating is so very frustrating.

That obstruction rule is going to cost someone a grand final. I simply do not understand how they can look at that play and say its good. Imagine losing a grand final or state of origin series…......oh wait that's already happened. Seriously I'd coach my team to run obstructions like that every other set of six if they are going to allow it.

The golden point system is simply wrong. Both teams play their hearts out and both teams deserve to walk away from that game with some reward. Instead we get the same reward as a team that gives up and gets lapped by 50\. During the regular season matches, what is wrong with a draw and both teams getting a point from it?

The final straw is seeing the look on that Grub ennis's face when they kicked that field goal. I would get pictures of that maggots face in the locker room as motivation.

Its Saturday morning and i am still very angry at the officials but proud of the way the boys never gave up and should have won the game.

Proud of the way the team played. Frustrated at the referees. Had they performed their job correctly, we'd be talking about the Tigers best win of the season.

We've still got improvement left in us. Benji wasn't able to dominate last night. He tried, but his timing was off and we missed Lawrence in the centres as Beau simply lacks the strikepower Rowdy has in both attack and defence. The forward pack got on top of the Dogs and were very good IMO.

I'd be giving Simona a shot at fullback next week and shifting Moltzen to 6 too. We need a bit more creativity in the halves at the moment.

this sums it up for me. :smiling_imp: :unamused:
time to get rid of golden point.
have hated since its inception.
1 point from this game, if at end of 80 min scores were equal, could well be the difference of a finals berth or mad monday.

Angry the obstruction rule wasn't followed but more to the point the rule where it says if you place the ball down over the line it's a try wasn't followed when Robbie scored but then I see a Melbourne bloke clearly drop the ball in the next game and that a try refereeing by the vide refs is despicable

Happy with the way the team played. A little bit annoyed at the referees, but we've won games on the back of suss refereeing in the past. That's the way the game is.

Overall, I'm annoyed that our season has ran to the point where so much was riding on last nights game.

It actually boils down to this the Tigers had there chances to win that game in extra time and they never took it plain and simple whether they were ripped of or not the opportunitydid present itself on many occasions.

Sam as Frank & Willow.

I am a harsh marker I guess, I rarely give the boys credit, I look for guts, attitude, passion and 110% always win or lose & I rarely see it with this team these days.
We were screwed big time last night, I am absolutelty ropeabple….the amount of mistakes in crucial situations by the refs is staggering....I feel so bad for the boys today...we really saw some attitude, some swarming defence last night, they played for each other (yes, it dropped off at times - I so want a consistently able team)

Bottom line, better team didnt lose, better team was robbed, make all the excuses you like about missed opportunities etc etc.....Plenty of cracks in Dogs armour as Sheens said

Why does it boil down to that….it got to that because of refs errors....youre condoning/accepting of that

A vid ref with the experience of hampstead, with the befit of hindsight and FF /Rewind/pause....unacceptable is what it boils down to

I thought sleeping it off would make me feel a little more relaxed but my blood is still boiling!!! I've never felt this angry before about a game!!! I feel for the guys and if we all feel this way imagine how they would be feeling right now. They gave it their all but it's impossible to win a game with dumb calls like that! OPSM would be a great sponsor for the game! Can the NRL publish a refereeing for dummies book please.
