Angry Sheens denies Tigers unrest

bye tim , good for us , but what are we getting in , the club has shed 7 plus players but we have seen one signing, please explain sheens??????????????????????

Who is the signing? I still think Blair is probably looking at this train wreck and thinking of signing elsewhere. As for Sheens being furious about the rumours of player unrest, suck it up princess, everytime the Tigers have come out and denied anything lately it has turned out to be true. If the front office was straight up with people then the rumours would have no substance. This team is imploding

Just watched it then…._finally_ someone in the media applies a bit of pressure...who was that bloke? Can he be at all of our press conferences?

Amen. I was annoyed that Robbie jumped into save Sheens just as he was getting a bit of pressure from this bloke about what people were emailing and writing on forums about the Tigers. I was pretty sure Sheens was about to say that he doesn't care what the fans have to say.

Is Sheens always this arrogant in post match press conferences? Article should read 'Arrogant Sheens denies Tigers unrest'. He should be taking the criticism on the chin, very disappointed in how he conducted himself in this interview.

Both Fonz and Humpty are being extremely dishonest. They know they will be employed on massive money for as long as they want at the Wests Tigers. So long as all merchandise is Black and Orange, all NRL players play for Balmain, the main jersey is Orange with a black V and they are referred to as the Tigers, the Balmain side of the JV will never remove these imbeciles from their positions.

Hey bug is your shrink open on Saturdays? You might want to make an appointment. Your logic is all messed up brother. I will always be Balmain through and through, but neither of our teams had a snowballs chance in he'll of surviving without the joint venture. Your constant whinging about the Balmain side only mirrors the same childish behavior shown by most of our players at the moment sooking about being broken up. Here's an idea, go follow another team that you have no issues with.

Not a good look for the Australian coach to be swearing in press conferences.
Im sure a player would be hauled over the coals for it regarding club image and sponsors etc.
He's feeling the heat….deflecting. "The players arent unhappy with each other"
No Tim...theyre unhappy with you.

Like when Tim labelled some of us ''so called fans'' re: John Morris....the criticism was at HIM for putting a player like Morris at 7

Have a long hard look in the mirror sheens

You know, if people who don't know what is going on in my inner circle, start asking and alluding to innuendo repeatedly that I either know is not true, or they do not know the full story on, and it kept happening to me week in and week out, i'd probably get a bit cranky and "arrogant" as well.

Just sayin'

We deserve everything that is happening.

Sheens could be long gone but NO we resign him for another 3 years of his rubbish.(with full support of many here

The buck stops with him one way or another.

Come on it was obvious we were going to get towelled from the kick off where we let the ball bounce in slow motion.

50% completion rate hahahahahah.

I am investing no more emotional energy in this team.

Im just saying Sheens wont get sacked because the Balmain side of the board wont go that way. They need him and he needs them.

But that is the management's fault, of which Sheens is a part of. Human beings will fill in any gaps in their knowledge so it makes some kind of sense to them. If you don’t want rumours and innuendo then tell the fans what is happening, don’t keep them in the dark.

Put up or shut up, you can’t have it both ways

I love a good conspiracy theory. What's it like to live in one mate? My young bloke showed me something interesting the other day. If you buy a playstation and purchase Nrl rugby league, it let's you change the teams around. You can actually make the Western Suburbs Magpies. You can pretend it's real life bug and even name your own coach, so Tommy could make his coaching return in your imaginary little world. And instead of blaming Balmain for the demise of your team you can press reset. Goooold! :crazy

The interesting bit I got from the grilling was that Sheens wanted to know who was concerned about the player movements, from the media and indicating that it was the media beating this up. I heard someone mention the fans and the forums etc, so this brings me to my question do the team or the club actually monitor these forums ? as they would have the answer here for Tim on exactly where we stand and our feelings on whats happening to the Club at present.

Bug - that post meets the double whammy criteria. You get to attack Sheens and the Balmain side of the merger.

Good effort. I'd give it an 8.

Add Humphries and you'd get a 9.

I trust Tim Sheens

I think he will snare Adam Blair and Josh Dugan ,yes he does keep his card close to his chest but i ask, is this a bad thing?

Cleaning out bad wood for what ever reason and protecting the players left to deal with the fall out is not a bad thing.

Tim Sheens will prove you all wrong with the side he puts out next year as for this year he will try his best to hold things together under a constant barrage of abuse.

Underdog, being the coach of a National Rugby League team is a little bit different to running within your inner sanctum (although you do sound like a bro who would have my back).
Sheens knew what questions would be asked and instead of taking some responsibility on what he has done to this club he takes this typical arrogant approach by laying the blame on individual players for the result!
You know, there are not many times that the Coach has come out and blamed himself for a result. There is always an excuse "The ruck speed is too slow", "The preparation wasn't right", "We've got key injuries", "The Senior players didn't aim up", "The younger players are still finding there feet" etc.
Guaranteed when the club eventually gets its head out of the sand, or when Sheens writes his autobiography, upon being asked what happened in '11 he will blame this year on the number of roster changes and the disharmony it brought within the club - not the way the team had performed or been coached.

Yep, just look back at what happened when Fitzhenry finally put a good game together. Smug Sheens came out on the offence criticising us critics for our treatment of Fitzy on this very forum.

100% agree. he reeks arrogance and speaking to some sponsors from the cowboys they helped show him the door as a result. the 'so-called fans' comment a few years back was a disgrace also…

The Fonz is too smart to ever blame himself. That is like waving the white flag.

Bug - he's got another one over you. Go listen to his ABC interview. He blames himself and the senior players for the poor performance against Parra.

He is right as well.
