Same here but within reason.

If players have to go that is life. We all typically complain it doesn't happen soon enough but now it is happening a little quicker and we are all up in arms.

The Fonz is too smart to ever blame himself. That is like waving the white flag.

Bug - he's got another one over you. Go listen to his ABC interview. He blames himself and the senior players for the poor performance against Parra.

He is right as well.

He might well be right 05, the problem is… it's been going on for a long time not just last night..it's the same excuses rolled out time after time.

The question is what is/has he done about it...answer, nothing.

Just watched it then…._finally_ someone in the media applies a bit of pressure...who was that bloke? Can he be at all of our press conferences?

Someone let a WTF member into the press conference!

… or... could it be that a WTF member is a journo...???? 😱pen_mouth: :astonished:

There is an article in the SMH this morning that covers the same ground as NRL.com article.
But it includes this little nugget of a quote from the coach:

_Sheens said the issues that had led to the Tigers struggling could be overcome quickly.
''It can be fixed in one week,'' he said_

I think he means 5 years and 1 week.

My feeling on this have been known since the end of 2007…..

The juice had been squeezed out of the orange in regards to Sheens then.

That is all. These days I can't even be bothered working up a sweat about it. I burnt out a long time ago on this issue. Just accept it these days and push on.

so we can just blame this on the ineptness of the coaching staff to get the best out of the players then??

No! But we can blame the coaching staff for not dropping underperforming or unenthusiastic players from the team and making it clear to them what they need to do to EARN a recall to the top grade!

Wow. MightyMaggy you have hit the nail right on the head. No accountibility for any of the players. Play crap and be picked next week, and the next week and the next week.

You could tell from Sheen's body language on the bench we were in for a bad night, he knows the team is going through the motions and 2011 is now blown out of the waters. Yet he comes out in the press conference and denies everything and puts it down to poor execution and completion. Give me a break Tim for once tell the truth

Gee, that's not like Mr Sheen to completely deflect the blame off himself.

Look, at the end of the day we are playing totally without confidence and with absolutely zero luck.

**In a couple of weeks when the passes start to stick and we win consecutive games everyone in the press gallery and on this forum will see the sun shine again whenever Mr Sheen bends over.**

LOL @ sunshine comment, but unfortunately, I don't think a run of wins are going to come this year, Jux. This year has a completely different feel about it, compared to others.

Robbie said in the interview, "We prepared good this week, **The warm up was good**"

I rememebr joey saying last night when one of our plays broke down…."I watched them warm up and they did this play five times and dropped it everytime, and now theyve dropped it again."

I was watching them warm up against the Bulldogs at Campbelltown and commented the warm up was terrible. It was nothing like the warm ups I saw in the semi finals against Roosters and Dragons last year.

No two ways about it, the Tigers are a team who are not enjoying their football at the moment, and as long as this continues I fear they will struggle to score points and win. It all starts with the players being happy around one another and backing each other up out there. Not seeing that at the moment which is worrying.

I trust Tim Sheens

I think he will snare Adam Blair and Josh Dugan ,yes he does keep his card close to his chest but i ask, is this a bad thing?

Cleaning out bad wood for what ever reason and protecting the players left to deal with the fall out is not a bad thing.

Tim Sheens will prove you all wrong with the side he puts out next year as for this year he will try his best to hold things together under a constant barrage of abuse.

yep coz the man is a 'supercoach' isn't he? :unamused:

TOTALL AGREE WITH YOU MATE. It is no different to all of us when we go off to work each day. Most people have been in a job at some point that they didnt enjoy and we know how that feels to just go through the motions as opposed to a job we enjoy and the additional effort we are prepared to put in for ourselves and work mates.

Isn't it funny bug, on another thread on this forum you said that by someone writing that some players bled black and gold and omitting white, that they were creating disharmony between the two entities within the joint venture. Then you come out with a statement like this…....

@Balmain Bug said:
Both Fonz and Humpty are being extremely dishonest. They know they will be employed on massive money for as long as they want at the Wests Tigers. So long as all merchandise is Black and Orange, all NRL players play for Balmain, the main jersey is Orange with a black V and they are referred to as the Tigers, the Balmain side of the JV will never remove these imbeciles from their positions.

Your causing disharmony with your constant bashing of everything the club does and not even the balmain ball thread escaped a rant from you.
