I just don't see the point in dishing crap out over something as broadly complex as music. Everyone has different interpretations and it seems anyone who dares go against the grain is labelled a pariah.

Yes it does. When it comes to music talent there is no such thing as the best.

Don't get me wrong, Acca are no Led Zep or Floyd….but they never claimed to be. They are a down and dirty bluesy rock band...I think Malcolm was their best member and will be missed far more than that druggo Rudd.

Yes Malcolm was their best member, and I don't disagree with that re: Rudd. Last thing you want in an ageing band who is reeling from the loss of an integral member is a loose cannon ruining whatever is left.

As for Newstead, he got what he deserved. Stand on your own two feet. He brought little more to the band than copying the riffs of the real talent.

How did Newsted copy the riffs of the real talent? Granted he was never in the same class as Cliff but he never went out of his way to be an imitator I will give him that much. As far as Phil Rudd goes, to even come out with the statement 'I am the best live drummer in the world' just shows how deluded that clown is. Drugs are bad mmkay.
