I have no doubt that we need to be working on defence, but to write an article about the players having a drink when stuck in a very hard lockdown is just stupid. These guys are away from their friends and families at present so a night having a couple of drinks is a non issue.

I am actually in the process of trying to organise a virtual fan night for players and fans during the lockdown and their quarantine. The players like anyone need some kind of distraction while going through this.

What's the plan?

Pretty good idea.

I'm hoping for a virtual trivia night, just trying to get a date that works for the club. Will include some player interviews etc.

By my reckoning 62% equates to 5.8 mil. That leaves 3.6 mil for the other 20 players which includes Tedesco, Manu, Crichton, Radley Tuponuia,Taukeihao and Walker plus 13 others. Its interesting that these figures have come from Joe Kelly the rorters CEO and not made up by Buzz. I'm sure Kelly will come out and say Buzz got the figures wrong. The NRL will just turn a blind eye to the figures which really just don't add up and have been reported by the rorters CEO. No wonder the game is a joke.

Easily explained mate: they have a 300% salary cap. So 62% is a trifle.

These guys don't hear anything anymore. They all thought Cam Smith was going to Brisbane, then the Titans, then taking on a coaching role at Melbourne, and it all turned out to be bollocks. They make up stuff on the fly to print papers.

He clearly has some ideas about our struggles and summed up the argument as well as anyone else has. In fact, I'd say he's completely right and I'm a Balmain fan, someone who he is suggesting should play NSW Cup.
