The site you posted is an obvious anti Islam site which goal is to tarnish the image of Islam.

In Islam, no single verse or hadith (teaching of the prophet) are to be taken in isolation, as they can be taken out of context or have been abrogated by others. Some verses were revealed for a specific reason, time & place, to a specific group of people, and yet people quote such verses & apply them to today to anyone.

All references on a subject matter need to be compiled and studied together to derive its true understanding & exegesis on the matter. You study the Quran from Islamic scholars & institutions as you would study medicine from the experts in the medical field.

So followers can pick and choose what they consider relevant and what is old hat. Surely this is a prescription for chaos - no wonder the religion is split into factions. Every new power-hungry no-body can become a new guru and split society even more. I thought for ethics to hold up they should be universal to time and place. I presume this is what the UN Declarations and all similar bodies strive to do.

She gets in before we have sat down yet, she doesn't know that behind her back she is the laugh of town. I reverse our of the room. Her poor husband gets a Bible reading to wake him up.
