We need a coach that can do what Cleary did at Penrith. But in saying that, it also helps to have a board, CEO and in our case the captain who'll let the coach do what Cleary did at Penrith.

While that parasite Mayer is in there and to an extent Robbie Farah are niggling at strings I honestly have no confidence in the abilities of the next coach. Doesn't matter who they pick.

I haven't got my finger on the pulse like some here. I thought Potter was good. We played some great football earlier this year and it looked like a great season was on the cards. Then it all went to hell. I'm glad they got rid the old board especially Meyer but please tell me, is Farah to blame for Potter's demise? Does one (top) player have that much influence over who will be coach? Maybe Farah should go to Parra as was rumoured in the last couple of years.

Pretty sure i read somewhere that Benji's mum frequented forums at the beginning of his career. I think that Zammit who played for the Panthers a few yrs had his mother or grandmother on a forum too. Not to mention Yileen Gordon's missus on here at the beginning of the yr defending him when he was sacked.

The best one though was a couple yrs ago on Facebook, Jarryd Haynes sisters and step mum use to go into fb groups and argue with people who didn't like him or had anything negative to say about him. What a bunch of knuckle draggers they were.

I don't think people realise how difficult the post Lockyer transition was for Brisbane. IMO it's a credit to Griffin that he made the finals 3 out of 4 years and 2 out of 3 without Lockyer.
