The cowards only giving 2.25 for a WT win and 3.5pts start.
Starting to warm to 3.50 on offer for a win by 7 plus.
Reckon that the Broncos may struggle to contain our offloads in the carnival atmosphere.
 
We hardly ever beat the horses…..And again I don't think we will. But I've said that in rds1/2 so far.
It's the old 'were expected to win 'aspect that I can't dismiss either. Just when I get excited about us is when we take a big nose dive.
Lots of pressure on this mob up here atm lends me to think we can win it, plus the added bonus of having Marshall on board. He's gotta know a few of their tricks especially Milford's who could be difficult to handle.

Not that that means we will lose on Friday, though…

Yes was there on a Friday night.
From memory we played them first up in 1990 and drew.
And in 1992 we were the last team to beat them just before semis 26 to 12 I think making only 2 errors.

Losing Taylor isn't really replaceable for us. Still were riding on a crest of a wave atm and will be backing us again.
 
3.5 start isn't enticing enough this week. Weather could play a part though

I consider Wests Tigers to be a separate entity to Wests Magpies and Balmain Tigers.
 
Since October every time I've had a good winning day on the horses I've put $100 on the Tigers to make the 8 and a bit on top 4\. I was working on the premise that we'd probably get beaten in the first 2 rounds and our price would go out and I could top up.

Things haven't quite worked out that way! I've got $500 @ $5.50 to make the 8 and $50 @ $12 to make the top 4\. I'll leave my punting at that unless our season falls away and we get back out to those odds.

I wonder what my cash-out price would be? :sunglasses:

I bet Kerrod does. His suspension gave his brother Steve Walters his rep chance and he never gave it up. And Graeme Wynn woudn have even felt the elbow on his jaw. What a career changing moment.

It just stands out as the next week Kevin had radio station FM 105 prank call Kerrod ….. , wanting to change his nick name from bird brain to something else ....... an expletive ridden phone call ensued :laughing:
 
Thinking about having a punt on tonight's game (I don't like betting on WT games).

I appreciate Morgan is back but has not played this year.

Storm don't usually lose two games at home in a row so I was thinking about Melbourne for the win (1-12).

Any thoughts?

I just can't see Melbourne losing 2 in a row at home
They are to good a side for that
I also think the cowboys had a tough game last week
Jonos legs are getting old
I know we beat the storm last week but they have a great back line
I wouldn't want to have to listen to Bellamy go off if if they lose two in a row at home
I think you might see a few try's from Vunavalu and Addo carr tonight
Smith to lift the team
Melbourne x more than I can count on my fingers
That's my prediction
