Anyone else excited to see how this plays out?

Just bare with me here

Obviously I'm not talking about results. But, with an entire cap to play with and a coach who is seemingly hanging by a thread, it seems the club is on the brink of a massive reshape and restructure. Maybe the biggest in the clubs history. So while the results on the field may be dank, it's going to be very interesting to see how active the club will be in the player market and what they decide regarding the coaching position for 2018\. It might be a tough year on the field, but it's definitely not going to be a boring time off it.

I have given up. I want the spoon.
I want the spoon shame onto our players. Useless plodders.
Let's see their contract worth with a spoon title next to their names.

Nope. I'm a bit over this Club. Pay $1200 in Season tickets and get dished up this garbage every season. We can't finish in the top half of a 16 team competition for what will be the 6th straight season. This Club is a shambles and nothing about it makes me excited

I couldn't care less anymore , it's the same crap year after year … As if we're going to attract any decent players .

I believe the next coach of WT will be long term and enjoy success. We will have cap room, new training facilities 2018 and hopefully our best young players under long term contract.
We won't challenge this year but we were bad last year and almost made the 8\. The next coaching appointment is key irrespective of JT he was always going to do the hard work for the next person to benefit from. The only way he we hanging on was a blistering start and the players knew that.

I am with you. I am excited to see where it ends. I am going to hate being on the ride though. I wish I could sim the season like on Madden.

With the money we have to spend we can really build a top squad here. We will pay overs to keep woods and teddy. Liddle and elijah are signed up so is suli. We should not be paying overs for the halves. Use this money to buy top forwards and atleast 2 decent backs. Why do we as tiger supporters have to suffer so much.

To be honest, I try to be optimistic.

At this stage, if we get the spoon I don't care at all. The guys out there are playing the game to earn a living, if they don't show up they don't get paid since they're all off contract, pretty simple as that.

I love the club, I've shed tears after losses. At the moment, the people pulling our jumper on every week have no guts. The last game I remember we played with heart was against the Raiders under Mick Potter I think, I am not 100% sure, but we were hit with injury after injury during the game and we still managed to knock them off. Everyone was playing for eachother, haven't seen that in a while.

They can do as they please from now on.

I think cowboys game last year and before that probably 2014 I agree with you a couple games in a couple years is pathetic

Nope - when are really ever going to have the money to attract the really good players? It just never happens! This club is always promising better times ahead, but nothing ever changes - it's just so bloody frustrating!

This. Time to follow the EPL more now methinks.

Can't even do that thanks to Friggin Foxtel
:brick:

Or being a West Ham supporter :bawling

I don't know who has the worst for and against

Luckily for me I'll be coaching in the NBA shortly

The board have shown they arent prepared to open the wallet when it comes to coaches …Go-Lo is the preferred outlet.

Recruitment also only sees us managing to obtain players with little other option, blokes on last legs, blokes back from soul searching missions...while they were good once, we rarely compliment them. WTs is a career killer for players and they all know it

The board is inept, our facilities ancient, where is this fanciful center of excellence?...we make up the numbers.
I cant see much future.

X2 I was so determined that I would not join again in 2017 but my heart overruled my head and I parted for two Platinum memberships ($1400).

For what? To be part of a club that is in complete disintegration, it seems.

The scorecard across the first three rounds of NRL, NSW Cup and U20s reads Tigers: 80 Opposition: 366

An average losing score of 27 points per game!!

And, how can it get better? The depth of playing talent just isn't there. How dd they get to be part of the club in the first place? How does our recruitment manager still have a job?

And, if it's not a lack of talent, then it comes down to the coaching team to ensure the attitude and effort of every individual player is as it should be, every week!! How do the coaches still have a job?

I don't share the feeling of excitement, I'm afraid. It's ugly and embarrassing and its only going to get worse.

The last two weeks has done me…I hope the WTs as a club can become a very good club to be part of,especially if the team win more games, can't see this happening for quite a while...I don't need the heartache I endure each week sticking up for a team full of potential going nowhere, will start concentrating on my golf so I can play in the Masters championship in October,if I don't make it I only have myself to blame, but at least I know I will make every effort to get there....

Our problem may be that we won't have teddy and Woods, if the club keeps imploding on on the field.
And getting rid of mrs Go' best mate might be harder than we think.
Who will she be able to invite to her afternoon teas.

They'll get paid no matter how many times that they squib it.
