Look for coment from people who were there on Sunday ….

I went to the game on Sunday and bought tickets in the reserved seating area , i was between 20 and 30 meter lines and about 15 rows from back of bay ....

Despite sitting in what I thought were pretty good seats , I found my slef watching the big screen for most of the game ......

Cant see myself heading back to ANZ any time soon

We had general admission seats at the northern end and didnt see any footy accept for what was on the screens. Definately a crap place to watch footy.

Agreed the only time the place has atmosphere is during finals but you always have to watch it on the screens. Lousy footy experience.

We sat in Aisle 408 on the middle level. Had a great view as we could see everything but we were so far away, you're at least a good 50+ meters from the sideline. It's a poor design for a rugby league venue. Hunter Stadium is fantastic, the seats are practically vertical in the upper stands. Melbourne's AAMI stadium is also one of the best in the NRL

I must of been sitting near you Alex :stuck_out_tongue: I was in Aisle 408 as well and I had a great over the top view of the field and play. Tickets cost me $25 (student) and this is a photo I took of the view I had.

Great pic Aaron! We were one bay over, on the 20m line. We picked up our tickets during the special offer. $40 family tickets. There were 8 of us so only paid $10 each! Awesome value I must say.

Great value - shame for me though I got my tickets two days before that 50% off deal was published. Oh well… And if anyone is interested how I did that photo. I used an app on my iPhone called DMD Panorama.

As do the Bulldogs, and they're the two competition leaders… Where else do you think the Dogs got the money to sign Des?!

Parramatta are also in on the deal. WT use to be on it (now at SFS on similar deal)

Id rather a better venue than the extra $ that we waste on certain players..

Skoda Stadium would be an alternative venue (more intimate venue) but does not offer $$ and prob exclusive to GWS only

And it's round - terrible to watch Rugby League.

I like the SFS. As far as I'm aware we get similar coin from them than we did at ANZ. Allianz also have huge plans for the stadium so I reckon we will see some good things to come. They have the naming rights for 10 years.

SFS is great to watch footy at
I went to anz on weekend and remembered why I hate that ground so much , it has great facilities but it is the worst ground to watch footy at.

We were sitting in 408 too. I didn't mind it because I like sitting back and watching the play evolve. It is a long way back though, an it certainly isn't Leichhardt.

My daughters second game to see the Tigers and even though we lost, the facilities were great, no line ups, and she loved walking onto the ground afterwards. It's not a Rugby Ground so you have to remember that. Obviously the deal they do with the clubs is too good to pass up!

Paid more recently to watch the game at Skilled Park, and that didn't impress me that much.

Plenty of room, plenty of comfort, lots of parking, exiting with ease, great visible replay screens, working PA system….no mud, no third world toilet facilities.....yeh its big, but it **_works_**!

SFS is hands down the best of our grounds to watch footy at. If only their beer supplies were more plentiful!

If we ever go back to that concrete hole I will not renew my season ticket.

The only reason I will go there is for finals football really.

Now come on don't be like that about Campbelltown :stuck_out_tongue:

Gotta say Alliance stadium is a much better venue to watch footy. Its easy to get to and good amenities and generaly a better view of the game and afterwoods at the fox studio pub weve had some memorable nights when we win.
