Apathy around the club

I'm a glass half full type of person.

Taylor is in the early stages of a 2 year contract. We have obvious salary cap management issues that they are trying to manage and a team full of kids he is trying to teach how to play a tough winning brand of football. That is my take on it.

I paid some one to work for me last night as I am self employed, Wont happen again, Hardly anyone put in last night, Teddy tried really hard & I feel sorry for him, How to fix the problem, I don't know? but I am not going to games & continually watch the crap which they are serving up to us Supporters, I have had it.

They all put in….its just not working at the moment. Hang in there. We are all in some pain, the wheel will turn.

Is that sarcasm,
I sincerely hope so , we have no wheels to turn

The effort was certainly there. We dominated chances but thru bad luck and lack of enterprising play couldn't get over the line.Naiqama should of had two tries. One he drops over the line and the other when he was chasin thru the kick close to the post and was crash tackled and the ref wouldn't even check it.Should of been a penalty try.

People talking about the players the cowboys had out well they had an international return last night too and their replacements had played a lot more first grade than our replacements.I was never confident about that game last night. This game exposed our lack of depth greatly.

Unfortunately in this day and age you obviously cant rely on youth alone. As much as I hate to say it cause I think hes a knob, Ricky Stuart has done exactly the right thing at the raiders. The raiders like us are a team that promote
youth development with in the 1st grade squad. When Stuart went down there he relized that the fans couldn't and shouldn't wait 3 or 4 seasons for there emerging stars to bring the team success. So he went into the player market and bought aggressively. So he has a workman like team with a sprinkleing of local juniors and they look a good team.Gould at the panthers did the same and he had salary cap issues just like us.
GET THE CAP IN ORDER WHATEVER IT TAKES.AND GO PURCHACE A 1ST GRADE TEAM PLEASE

Always seems like the people in power in our club and in the media are talking about the Tigers bright future. They play such exciting football and have kids who will all play origin. They give them an easy ride and the club as easy ride

Really the spotlight should be on the club for being a basket case for the best part of 15 years. The fact that even with no injuries and no disruptions we cant beat a Cow side with half a side on the sidelines.

Everyone seems fine with the constant 3-4 year plan. There is so much talk but in reality no substance to any of it. We seem to be going backwards from 2014, the kids get hyped up and made out like they are superstars, thinking they are heros after 1-2 good games,

Our coaches never seem too fussed with losses to make changes. They roll out the same sides week after week year after year. Its ok one more loss doesnt really matter, at least they were competitive. That seems our attitude.

Our players on big contracts have been at the club for years and been perenial loses but it doesn't seem to bother them too much. The players we do let go like Austin and Koro go on to better things.

Year in year out we miss the finals but there seems a certain apathy, lack of urgency around the place.

The fans are really the only ones who suffer. But hey look out for the Tigers next year. All talk no action. Interest in the club as a while seems at a all time ow amoung the fans, the die hards will always be there , but even they might start to drop off soon.

Won't take issue with what you have said Eddie - you are just being negative as usual.

That's ok - it is your opinion.

I will take issue with "even the die hards will drop off soon."

A true "TIGER" will never drop off - ever. I have suffered through massive defeats over the years - a lot worse than this year (going pretty well compared to some years). Doesn't matter - you are a Tiger or you are not. Have never left a game one minute early over 65 years - 60 to nil doesn't matter - you support them or you don't.

The simple answer is - the supporters who drop off were not REALLY Tiger supporters in the first place.

We are just in holding pattern until Balmain die or come back on board. All the issues stem from the top and i cant see what the new board have done to change things.

A bad attitude, is like a flat tyre.
It won't change itself.

It's up to the entire organisation, to look at themselves and improve.

russell what a load of crap, so to be a real fan u just have to suck it up and say and do nothing, i have been a tigers fan for 46 years and will always be one but i will say that the crap JT is dishing up to us fans is a disgrace and i will protest by staying away from games untill it changes. this does not make me a non fan. thats my take and i support ur right to have ur say .

What the hell has Balmain got to do with us the West Tigers….they do have their issues, but we have some pretty bad ones too.....If Balmain go the WTs will still be here,if they come back on board the WTs will still be here.....what has Balmain got to do with our absolute poor playing performances, and poor management....

The new board and coaching staff were put in charge of an absolute rabble and we are still sifting through the garbage...I have given them untill mid 2016 to get this clubs on and off field performances to a decent level,or they will lose my support ....and maybe others will get sick of the rubbish this club has dished out for years...

You don't think the current situation of the NRL in control is hindering the club? We're going nowhere until ownership is sorted.

can someone in the know - in the circle - provide evidence for apathy around the club - much appreciated

Were you at Campbelltown last night? There's no more evidence required if you were.

Exactly, if you were there and sober and aware of the mood of the crowd it doesnt need to be provided.
