I’ve told you before, we will keep missing the top 8 forever as long as fan pressure sees us signing stupid contracts for players not worthy of it.
If you are happy to be one of the fans who praises players who do not or cannot perform up to their contract value, go right ahead, but don’t expect to see better results.

My opinions are not generally with the majority.
There is 💯 pressure to sign certain players at any cost just to get the deals done when enough pressure comes from fans tn get the signings done.

Fans have opinions - many ill informed - and that's about as far as it goes they have no bearing on the outcomes. And we should all be thankful for that given that their opinions change like the weather.

What a load of garbage
 
We are regularly trash without him in the team, just watch some of the tackles he makes on bigger players in our red zone, its crazy. He may have the odd bad game as most do, however on balance he is the best player we have had over the last 3 years by a country mile. I would agree that he was sub standard in attack and should have shifted the ball to the left more often on the weekend and he did have a couple of errors, however I dont think he is overrated, every supporter i know from other clubs would gladly take 2026 Api off our hands and pay him what we are, bar maybe Cronulla...and the storm. dogs supporters would pay him more.

alf our team out for those games and would not have won even if we had Harry Grant playing hooker for us
Api certainly wasn’t going to make any difference.

Mate Api week after week carries this team on his shoulders running himself into the ground. He has earnt some leeway for the odd mistake and average game.

He’s a shot duck, old and tired and we will lucky to get 3 more good games from him between now and the end of the season, particularly if he keeps playing 80mins.
He is getting rag dolled when defending due to his lack of size and ageing body, he is struggling to identity which side of the field and which players are needing the ball and more and more of his passes from dummy half are too high which is taking away from our playmakers time to make a decision.
Not the player he once was unfortunately.

What are you watching? I see forwards from us not being able to dominate a tackle and little Api comes in and man handles the much bigger player putting our forwards to shame.

We are a completely different team when Api is not on the field. And not for the better.
