Yeah literally not much in it. One match if anything. I feel they will give us 4 weeks if he contests though. Seem to be making a point on these lately.

Over the top , 3 games is a joke , he had no other place to land and it wasn’t deliberate , player got up and played on , 1 week on top of his stint on side line 10 minutes that gave the raiders a sniff and the lead , NRL is a joke

I'd be fighting this. There will be hundreds of tackles like this in the last 2 years where no action was taken. The guy didnt even get injured.

Equality NRL style,3 weeks is a disgrace but not a shock when you know how they (refs/judiciary) operate.

Even with loading for prior offences, 3 weeks is excessive when compared to the punishment handed down to Su'A last week. Consistency of punishment and officiating generally have never been the NRL's strong suit.
Would takes in prior offences for the same type of tackle.

Hope will need to do a job with either Madden or Latu rotating. Big test for us.
Unfortunately Api has a bad tackling style for this day and age. The days are gone as to when you encouraged players to go low, its all about stopping the ball carrier and those off-loads.This is his 3 or 4th charge this year already something needs to change. Still a great player for us that's for sure but he needs to adjust his way or for time and fines coming his way unfortunately.

Without priors it was a 2 week ban, the NRL is run by a bunch of clowns…look forward to seeing the next “hip drop” go unpenalised
Hope is not first grade standard imho,we will do it very tough if he is picked to start.

It was very unfortunate for Api. He was tackling a larger man from behind, around the waist, and consequently was dragged off his feet. The referee, I think, indicated he would have to get 10 mins because injury was involved. The way the injured party carried on, both I and the officials thought a stretcher would be required to remove the player from the field. Luckily, he was able to carry on, playing into the second half before he succumbs to the injury.

Loving the speed of the game but suspensions and sin bins need adjusting to suit. What is a 5ft 8 90kg veteran going to do agaisnt a big forward one on one.
The higher ups just aren’t using logic when they make rule adjustments. 10 minutes in the sin bin is almost certain to result in 2 tries and fatigue build up for the defending team.
If you want an enjoyable fast passed high scoring game, injuries will follow. Teach the players and coaching staff to avoid this and punish accordingly however lengthy suspensions and 10 minute bin periods are not suitable and ruin teams.
