Both TDS and Api seem to be clubman so we might get lucky. In contrast to Galvin who has already requested 3+ releases.

Api and TDS roster planning is well done. Suits both Api to stay and TDS to sign on. Needs another year of growth it’s one of the toughest positions on the field physically.

Yep. His minutes will increase and Api will decrease at some point. Depending on how Api is travelling, it would be great to have him retire with us.

When TDS overtakes Api, I see Api moving to 14 to get a few more years in. But we're a fair way off that yet.

I am also cool with Api deciding his retirement and how he wants to go.

Api is clearly in the top 3 hookers in the moment, and top 5 in the last 10 years. Sure he isn't at that Cameron Smith level, but he is at that top class Origin level.

Let Api decide. If it means we carry him as the 17th man, so be it. If we loose TDS, so be it. Api offers far more to the team.

It’s hardly a request for a release, nothing more than a question.
And probably Because they spoke to the club - not the player or management.

Yes that is true but we don't like it, wonder if what didn't come out in the media was a possibility of a decent swap deal.

Think Latu has the speed off the mark to slice through the gap between the scrum and the first defender when the time is right. Similar to how Doueihi did against the broncs at Suncorp a few seasons back.

Pack Latu or Mason at lock and pick it up an go back to the blind. There are no backs defenders there, blind defence needs to come quick out of the scrum.

Succession in the 9 role looks pretty good to me. Api slowly plays less hours as TDS increases his. Eventually when Api us done TDS takes over with Haywood playing the understudy role.
I don’t see TDS leaving us.
