Personally I think Liddle is our number one hooker/dummy half in 2020 - maybe we need a backup if the unforeseen happens but another NRL hooker?

Don't think Api wants to play cc and if Jake can't make great inroads next year then maybe sign another NRL hooker for 2021, don't think you would have to though.

Now we've committed to Liddle I'd be happy with bits and pieces to fill in if necessary. Mbye, ET, the kid from Brissie at some point, others that maybe aren't even with us yet. I don't think we can afford to pay two hookers

If we sign Billy Walters or a Ben Hampton type player, we can use them as a backup hooker, half etc.

That's is a much better way to go.

Signing him would be the equivalent of some of Ivan's signings. Someone needs to stop the coaches recruiting from their old mates club.

Too expensive, not a priority position for improvement given deficiencies elsewhere. Just because he's available doesn't mean we should chase him. Move on.

Has he ever locked down a starting position and played consistent 80 minute football?

Yes, for about a year and a half over 2017 up until his injury in Round 14 in 2018. He was in serious contention for hooker for NSW when Cook was first selected. Fainu has overtaken him at Manly now though, but that's because Fainu is bloody good not because Koroisau is rubbish...

He averaged 70 minutes a game over that period and played plenty of 80 minute games. Barrett was the coach...

Ok thanks. Ill look into it. My impression is that he doesnt go 80 minutes is a number 2 guy. We have enough number 2 guys in the spine already.

DEAR TIGERS MANAGEMENT AND FANS

WE ARE CONSTANTLY IN THE SAME PLACE AS A CLUB BECAUSE WE KEEP PANICK BUYING DISGARDED PLAYERS OR PLAYERS WHOS BEST FOOTY IS BEHIND THEM.

PLEASE STOP.

Newcastle have shown of late what a marquee youngster can do to attract others to their club.

No more maqueens, packers, balin, tui, trynolds.......the list is humongous
