Ps how good is the South African " giraffe " Marco Jansen !
Gets 93 off 91 balls in the 2nd test in India and then gets 6-48 with the ball !

Note: Renshaw, after setting toads up for the win with the only hundred of the game (third for the season), the toads only needed 32 for victory Ren got out to a good one early, but surprisingly did not get MoM. That went to Sandhu for his 5wkt second innings.
Note: Inglis played against Pom lions and Ren played against the Shield leaders.

I thought we needed some context there Steve as I thought it sounded a bit rough on Renahaw.
Good to see Inglis still scoring let’s Carey feel some heat to keep his spot but I am not picking Inglis to open for Oz in the next text. He just hasn’t got the numbers this season.
Did you see the Poms used 10 bowlers against us in the first innings.

Yeah I seen Jensen’s score last night and backs it up with 6wkts, it’s always nice to have an opening bowler who’s not a dear in the headlights with a bat.

Did you see Khuneman opened the Bat and Bowl for Tas?

And that young NT kid Maladay took 3 wickets for CA11.

If Lyon not fit for Brisbane ( hope he is ) options are no spinner but if we need one im leaning to Todd Murphy .
Think Weatherald needs one more chance with Renshaw in the wings

Do people feel Khawaja had earned the right to be the one to decide how he retires?

He's not in the Ponting, Gilly, Hus, Clarke tier but is he in the tier with Warner, Martyn, Symonds etc?

I hope the plan with Travis Head is to move him back to 5 and find a new opener to replace Khawaja if needed

I have not even considered another spinner as I don’t reckon they will ever drop Lyon. But if injured off the top of my head yeah I’d go Murphy, but I’d have to check recent performances etc.
I would not have picked Weathers in the first place but if ya gunna pick a bloke ya gotta give him more than one game especially an opener. But if Uzi is injured so I’m bringing in Renshaw to the squad and picking on game day.
